Ok here is the start of the new Test. We are flat and you can log-in with the same credentials. It is quite a project to replenish the balance in Tradersway. You can only add dollars and not cents. So I had to repeatedly enter Phoney/False trades to get to an even demo-dollar amount of $6,000.00. I felt like I was playing a video game!

Your welcome Shinobi Ninja, I expect good results also.

The reporting is more fair now as we have started out with the same balance in both. About 1 hour ago the M15 entered two trades. We are in "Buy Mode" with the M5 and the M15. The M5 already has bagged $4.56 and remains in "Buy Mode".

There are more specialized ways to track and omit fluctuations in price quotes to stabilize an EA. I am hoping the thread author will incorporate some of the more advanced methods in the future code. For now SN we have the third party News Filter that turns the EA off during the usual medium or higher "New Events" that cause anticipated price swings:
  • up then back down (creating meaningless entries and exits).
  • down then back up (creating meaningless entries and exits).
If anybody can point us to more advanced code please do...

I have it paused for 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after. Right now it is pausing for the German ifo Business climate. You can refer to the setfile I provided.

The M15 seems to be trading ahead of the M5 and is well into the Sell mode. The News Filter functioned flawlessly (off 1/2hr. before and 1/2hr. after the German ifo business climate index report). We are now trading 0.03 Lotsize against 6K. If you want a smaller balance drop down to 0.01 and use the M15. Base your balance to start with by using the max DD seen from the earlier tests reported here.

M15 took a loss. A good EA can take a loss and get flat then continue rather than just ride a loss. If you know yourself and how you prefer to trade then you can appreciate its just not all about profit...it is about the journey.

If you wish to trade with a smaller balance simply observe the last report cycle of $72.15 Max DD seen Post 414 . You could probably trade with $150.00 start balance with 0.01. This is a high risk because the max DD seen can increase. If your like me the minute you start the the EA you head straight for the max DD seen...never fails. But theoretically you could start with $150.00 (1000:1) and as each day passes with some profit you fortify and build your base to withstand the max DD seen including its increases.

Trading can be less gambling. You just build slowly and try to get away from the illusions of grandeur'. Imagine your bank account and the interest it earns....its not much, now compare it to your Forex Bank account. Do you realize that just 25% per year can make you a millionaire much faster than your bank account can?

As long as you reach a positive "Profit to Max DD seen Ratio" as fast as possible and maintain it you are golden. Do not get too aggressive in how you increase your lotsize as this EA does not deserve recklessness.

Thank You for the kind words nirvano. I will post what I know but perhaps the thread author will see your post if I shut up. I do not know if there are any changes in the horizon but as always the market changes and active managment of EA'S and their codes is only a good thing. Look at the Flex EA as an example.

No my friend I totally believe you of course but only confused between real and virtual trading
In this regard sir can i ask you about Flex v4.91 if is it also read history or not
actually the backtest on Alpari slightly different from XM and both of them slightly different from real forward test
I know this is not Flex EA thread but i Know you have experience and we share all our experience for giving feedback so all can have profits:inlove::inlove:
