In this regard sir can i ask you about Flex v4.91 if is it also read history or not
actually the backtest on Alpari slightly different from XM and both of them slightly different from real forward test
I know this is not Flex EA thread but i Know you have experience and we share all our experience for giving feedback so all can have profits

I am sorry I snapped at you. I understand your frustration. It makes me frustrated to hear that this EA does not trade the same everywhere. I trade a demo at TradersWay and all I can suggest to you folks is to trade there. The demo seems to work well. I do not make it a habit of recommending anyone. So please do not take this post as a recommendation for TradersWay. I trade live at the 5%ers and I can recommend them and I endorse what they are doing.

If I did not live in the USA I would have an account at ICMarkets but not for this EA. Again I am not recommending ICMarkets as there are very few dealers if any that I recommend.

The version of Flex that is public is reading history. I have the Mq4 file which does not. As far as I know my MQ4 file of this EA reads history.

There is no "Profit to Max DD seen Ratio". They are both inverted. This is the only number that matters and it has been three days of trading thus far. Sometimes it can take up to 1 month for this number to turn around.

Use Forex Factory in the inputs..look at my setfile. It all works fine (You currently have the default setting which is set to Daily-FX).

Folks be patient. All of this will come together. The trading is going as expected. I report the good and the bad and Thank You so much for following along. This EA is a winner. Do you want to know why? It is because it takes it's losses and then moves forward....none of this floating roller coaster like most of the other EA's here. Find a dealer to trade this with that allows a trailing stop of 2 and you are golden.

Mitra Exness Indonesia V2.2 is like a beautiful painting. It is hanging without a frame just now...We will find the right frame when the market decides and the colors will really pop. Just now it is survival. You will notice as each day passes this EA gets fortified and stronger.

You are saying...Electric! what are you whining about?...the EA went up in Profit according to your last report! Like I said when there is an inverted Profit to Max DD seen Ratio it is not performing well, but it has been only 3 days so I must be patient.

P.S. Trading is take and give. The market trends...recovers...finds trades. This is what it does. To extract money from the Forex Market requires the trader to fly under the radar likea stealth bomber and to watch his exposure.

Thanks electric savant, I got the news filter working and I'm using your preset- except for the fact that I'm only trading the GPD/USD pair with this EA, so I modified the news filter setting to only stop trading around news events for GBP and USD. I figure there's no need stopping the EA around JPY or AUD news?

I have made 500% per month on small balances in the past....but that means nothing.

LOL not at all, no body saying to you brother....that im New or not experienced , Obviously not a new trader yes its new handle cause of some very annoying buddies here you can find them on each and every thread , however i failed to get a good support from admin here of Soe hoe..thatswhy i need to build a new profile....plus...your saying about simulator...no..i dont have...and yes about that saying a little climb from my picture you seeing....a little climb from down to up is really there...and im also convinced with the View of that it can survive...however i would like to take at least 40 to 50 percent gain per month..thatswhy i asked you....however for this 5 percent DD you have...yes its really safe with that Gain.,..and yes...some more months are really necessary to test more

I reached out to you because you stated that you can make 50% or 40% a month. If you can do this consistently I wish to learn how. I am pleased that you still follow this thread but am sad that you are not working on this EA and in so many words you have written it off.

Would you agree that a gain of 500% on a $100.00 account is the same as a gain of 10% on a $5,000.00 account? When you speak of a gain 40-50% each month you must be starting from ??? Perhaps in the Trading World when one speaks of gain they mean something other than I am reporting? I am aware it is more correct to think and post in PIP's or Pipettes. Psychologically that is better.

I may of misrepresented some numbers in my report. The standards in how I post are purely from my financial background & trading experience and I attempt to simplify the performance picture... but perhaps with your experience you could correct me if I need to use certain benchmarks? I could include...Sharpe Ratio...Sortino Ratio...etc I find the "Profit to Max DD seen" ratio covers a lot of ground and "cuts to the chase" don't you?

Concerning the History reader...wouldn't that just concern backtesting? For me personally this is a non-issue as I am not a backtester...I am a forward tester. Thus far, the market has stressed this EA somewhat in which it survived. I am forward testing in hopes the market will give a trend to find the boundaries this EA operates under. The News Filter was a good addition to this test however it interferes with the backtesting enthusiasts in this thread.

P.S. I am for hire as a consultant to trading automation developers but I have a full plate just now... but I tell you now...If I could consistently make 40% a month I would drop a lot of what I am doing and hang around those circle of traders that can.

Hi Brother....im amazed at your words as you are the Man who worked lot on this EA and advised lot of people for mitra EA intentionally or unintentionally , as far as me concern, i am very Far from this work right now on this EA for the past many weeks, as i saw many Flaws in it as its history reader and almost every coder already spent lot time on it already at SoeHoe....500 percent Gain in the past means much for everyone if that is for Real Not only in our Dreams.....i wish you the best Good Luck
