The Profit to Max DD seen Ratio is not at its high water mark (1.21/4.04). Perhaps this week will find some benchmarks to live by...we shall see. The Profit to Max Drawdown seen Ratio is all that matters in my opinion. An EA that can grow the Profit to Max DD seen Ratio and get flat often is a good. This report below will give you all that you need to make a judgement with.

How did you get out of last week trades? I'm still in some positions since 02/08, EA opened some more positions and closed them in profit, but those are still opened, DD is still over 3%.

Keep in mind I do not post a report after each trade and here lately I have been posting less as I do not want to bore you. So many trades take place and the direction switches many times before my report comes out. I try to post reports at different times to reflect what the EA is doing whether it is in profit or not.
I do not trade manually because I always make a wrong trading decision and as I explained earlier I am a disaster when it comes to trading discretionarily. My discipline, emotions and ability to follow a trading plan suffer and I simply do not have the stamina or patience to trade manually. I use the computer for the tool that it is and let it trade according to plan.
I simply have let the EA trade and you can log-in to my account with the investors password to verify. This is not a report of MY TRADING...this is a report for the thread author as he requested in the opening posts of this thread so I would never interfere with the operation of the EA.

The M15 seems to have navigated through this recent bump showing new highs even though the increase in drawdown knocked down the max DD seen ratio. Post 365

I want to emphasize the importance of the "Profit to Max DD seen Ratio". This is the most important measurement in this thread concerning the performance of this EA. Have you noticed that most shared EA's in the public Domain by freelance coders have inverted "Profit to Max DD seen Ratios for the first 30 or 60 days. If you are lucky enough to tinker with an EA and convert it to a "Wholesale Trading Quality" EA you certainly have accomplished much. I am hired by developers to do just this. Funny thing is I am just a trader like you folks. I am just struggling to survive and I am cursed with being a little on the detail oriented side and I drive my friends crazy. This year will be my first year that I am finally profitable with EA trading.
Thank you for reading this rather personal post (imagine a small voice in the wilderness). I wanted to share this with you...especially those of you that have followed this thread from the beginning. Traders are my friends and I only want to help. I am sure you can agree that you will not find many threads like this anywhere on the internet. I am proud of you all and am pleased that this will go in the archives for many traders to see in the future.
My biggest achievement would be if those professors of Forex Teaching out there would refer their students to to this thread to grab some important principals in trading and to witness a journey in profitable "trading discoveries" and concepts. What are my next goals? Well I want to have an EA that makes 50% a month and gets flat and takes losses when needed with an acceptable drawdown. There was a trader here in this thread that I think was a professional who does just this...he hinted to the fact that he only trades EA's that make 50% a month. Every once in a while we get visited by these superstars and just hang with them....hang with success traders.

Hey Alc....would a news filter help us with this EA? I have been wondering. I cannot change my tests but it sure would be good if someone tested it. I have a news filter if needed for someone to test with. It will turn off the EA 1/2 Hr. before and after the medium News Event.

I have no idea which dealer is the best. The Thread author may know. For me personally I do not care as I have limited choices because I live in the USA. Read the bottom of every dealers website about restricted countries.

I think the impeachment trial last week may have affected the gpdusd pair? The ea worked good in December, then got screwy in early January. I think it might be heavily affected by news?

Yes there is a way to code that into the EA (tick change). Please contact the thread author for the MQ4 file, but promise me you will provide the chunk of code for me.
