I trade live with the 5%er's. This is a prop shop and not my money.

If I were allowed to trade with meaningful leverage in the USA, I would pick 1000:1 or more as that would allow me to tie up less funds. That is all leverage really is anyways. It allows a trader to tie up less funds and it should not change the way he systematically trades.

I use 0.01 per 2k. and set the autolot to false in my live account. All the other settings remain the same that are in the reports.

My reports on the demo accounts use the setting that are in the reports and you are welcome to log-in to those demo accounts.

Good Trading to you Nirvano and use my reports in this thread to assist you in any changes that take place. The market can do anything and these reports are to assist you (and me) in live trading.

P.S. Below is my setfile for live trading with GBPUSD M15. You need to change the lotsize. You will see that I use 10TP, 50SL & 2 Trailing just like in the Demo reports. I do not trade the EURUSD or any other pairs.

It was not a very good week for Mitra

DD to increase strongly because of too much opening on eur / usd

Wait for retracement of the pair and remove the pair, keep only gbp / usd for the rest

I have some other EA's that I have altered and am testing that are showing great promise. Some of them make more and some of them make less than this EA. I am reluctant to start threads as I have not been asked by the owners of these EA's to do so.

I find that the most profitable EA's trade in a way that I do not prefer. I measure EA's with a different criteria. As a trader you must find out what you can live with day-in and day-out. It must fit with your lifestyles and tolerances. I am a professional trader and my success is based on amount of risk taken not profit made.

Many, many traders are far more profitable than I. I think one of the most important ingredients in my report is the ratio of "Profit to Max DD seen" and remains a good measurement of performance.

My point is this EA started right out of the gate showing more profit than DD. Stay tuned for a thread with reports. Please do not PM with requests for this EA as it makes me feel bad when I must say no. You will get it in the thread when it is ready.

Your idea is correct. This EA performs best in GBPUSD. In other currencies, it's bad

The M5 made $41.00 and gave it back since the last report, but it survived with a meager $0.12 return. The M15 lost $6.00. The two timeframes are in synch now and in Sell Mode. This EA can lose money too, which is good. It does not simply ride the price and hope and wait for a retrace that may or may not come quickly or never at all. Perhaps this next mode will be profitable.

last i checked with 5Ers, they don't allow robot trading
How did you run it with robot??

They have always from the very beginning allowed robot trading..

They allow copy trading & signal trading too!

Here is the thing...they get half of the profits..but you eventually get 1.28 mil to trade. You get paid once a month and the payment does not get deducted from your performance calculations and balance used.

unfortunately, i was informed by the support that they don't allow as such. Thanks for the update

The Profit to Max DD ratio held at 3.25 for the M15 which is encouraging. It's not just about profit folks..It is about survival. To those of you that trade the M5....remember how long it took you to get an equity balance of breakeven? That was a long time to live with losing money, over a month and look at how deep the DD went! Every Rose has it's thorns.

February is a short month and its lights out March 6th. There is a danger with 0.05 trades as I cannot reach a balance of $5,750.00 during the DD phase.

My terminal has 5 opened positions, DD went up to 2%. Apparently trend is about to change due to daily strong resistance.
