if you have small account, yes, install news filter, but if your account is big, no, do not install news filter.
Why do i say this?
If news event causes a waterfall, and you have some trades open, it may cause huge floating losses. This is very bad for a SMALL account. But if you have a BIG account, afg will open more trades and that will create more profit. But the floating losses can blow up your account if you have a SMALL account. That is why i said...

Ok. Understood. I installed in 2 accounts demo, one with news filter and not Trailing stop and another one without news filter and Trailing Stop.
Actually I have a bigger floating on the account with news filter (no trailing stop), bu there is something strange. Fiboscalper opened some trades with this sequence: 0.01-0.01-0.02-0.02-0.03 (fiboscalper4), after that opened a smaller trade of 0.01 (fiboscalper5), as you can see on picture, why?

what is your account balance and free margin?
looks like your Free Margin may have fallen below 75% of the account balance?
i recommend put setting MinimalFM to 25(%) that means that when you Free Margin is below 25% of your Account Balance, the LotsFM will be your trade size.
I found more consistent results with LotExponent at 2.34 too.
With Trail stop enabled, with settings for Trail stop/step:
60/45 for trending pairs,
50/35 for volatile pairs.

My account balance actually is 340 usd. Ok I'll do that.
Is it better TF M30 or H1? In backtest seems better H1 than M30 but I don't know if they are trusted...

M30 is good. but you are correct, H1 is better on small accounts.

I have used afg on all types of accounts, small spread, high commissions, high spread -- low commisons and other accounts too.
In my opinion, they all work but all have their bad things and good things.
But I recommend a high spread and 0 commission for SMALL accounts under 1k.
for LARGER accounts low spread high commisions will make them make more profit faster, but also higher floating losses.

Please accept my appology for not getting back to you regarding the update of my ea. I have been very busy coding other stuff. But I have NOT forgotten you. Have you got the 3 strategies with enable/disable option yet? if not, then please reply and i can do that tomorow.

page 22 to get my modified ea. It is same as shadys ea AND afg AND afi AND ilan, but mine shows less errors and does not freeze like those other ones do. I also added a money management feature, when free margin fallse below XX percent of Account Balance, the ea limits the trade size to 0.01.
REPEAT: see page 22 ea name "EA.rAfg19.0513.ex4"

This would have occured because the price recovered after the news.
If you dont have news filter on and the price continues into the losing side, your floating losses would be bigger, more trades will open and the floating losses will become bigger and bigger. A LARGER account will recover from this, but a small account can blow up easy in this scenario.

Hi! No problems at all, and thanks for not forgetting my request
In fact there were 4 modifies that should be done:
1_ from fixed lot to lot based on deposit
2_ the enable/disable option that you mentioned
3_ the possibility to reverse every single strategy (getting a "sell" instead of a "buy" and viceversa)
4_ basket profit in dollars based on deposit too
I already have a modified version by Tanaka, but the reverse function isn't working very well, sometimes it simply doesn't work..these are all the tricks that can make this EA better in my humble opinion..take your time, don't worry..just let me know when you can

Hi, here the account on Friday with News Filter and minimalFM 25.
As you can see the floating loss is very big and more than 25% but it don't open 0.01 lot, there is something wrong?
