Question PeakTrough EA - Only 1% DD!

you need to find your broker stop level point, and set your stop loss and trailing stop level not lower than your broker stop level.
 
Yes i have changed stoploss level from 4 to 40 now it is working. but still i feel sl would be hit so easily. take profit is so far. Lets see
 
Don't worry about TP trailing stop will cover everything, btw this ea have great potential with good settings it works good even on M5 but it need broker with low spread

Does anyone know a broker with ecn cent account?
Someone account in ICMarket (true ecn from zero spread) to share whether it is feasible to run this EA?

I got that type of account and i'm gonna run it soon in live (on demo it works) but i have one more request. Could you make update and add hidden TP and SL to this EA? I think we can have problems in future with that tight stop loss because brokers like to cheating especially if we start to earn a lot of money, the idea is to put fake TP and SL - like 1000 points or something and then ea will put true TP and SL line on chart - but not visible to broker i think it's good way to protect us in future because they can't see your actual stops so they can't cheating even if we start make good money.
 
What will happen if wider SL, TP and Trailing stop are set for this EA. So that it is not affected by non-ecn accounts.

By thinking this way our account wont be affected by non-ecn account and slippages and ea can be used by many people.
 
i check luizino octafx demo result, until now his result still good. i think, if his demo result still good and stable. and this ea will be great hope for real trading. i do not suggest put 5m to trade. it risks. . h1 is best tf to trade for this ea.

Making this change is no problem. Difficult is to ensure stopping at times with the busy market in a high GAP for example.
I can even put Stop Loss and Take Profit random and configurable (Virtual SL and TP and true SL / TP also), so the broker will not understand how only skid ... What do you think?
 
In need of money management make a change where already placed orders are readjusted lots according to the orders being closed. It requires a little more time to settle, but much depends on the results of your test in real account.
They think that it is worth taking the time and try to hit this EA?
What do you think of renaming it due to changes implemented and open a new topic?

Sorry for late answer, I think your idea with Virtual SL and TP and true SL / TP is good. Do what you think it's better, willingly I could test the updated version of ea especially it may be safer and better in long term so let's try! :) Regarding to open new thread it's no problem, also I want to thank you for your help and involvement in developing this EA.
 
Also some improvement in detecting signals would be appreciated. with a wider TP and SL. so that it wont be affected by big spread

Hi in what method you have been doing backtest? I run it with the same settings and period on 1H with mt4 confing from pepperstone incuding commision and get different results.

I think its better if you could add "Max Spread" on EA, so it prohibit EA from doing OP when spread are getting bigger. And this max spread also included when calculate taking profit :)
