Question PeakTrough EA - Only 1% DD!

hai Luizinho,
u did wonderful backtest.i have some doubt.u have corrected the EA now...can i run EA without any change as per your EA?...and which broker u r did test this?and which broker u r doing the real trade?....for your EA now what timeframe should i run?..and the what are the currency pair can i run?..what is the minimum investment to run robo safe?....sorry for asking toomany question..

Sorry, wrong when he said:
"If your broker is 5 digits use 0.2 to 20 pips. See what is Also StopLevel and adjust accordingly."
The correct use is 2.0 to 20 pips.
The code is adapted for Traders accustomed to 4 digits where the value of the pip is 0.0001.
 



I noticed that also had the same problem here and so I decided to replace the original code trailingstop for mine.
I took and I left running with EA configuration for broker of 5 digits. I not tested in 4 digits.

very staange, i put your version in h4 with your set, it did not open any orders. very stangely.
 
This EA only succeed in brokers with lower spread, with very fast execution and future price ZERO. backorder have to have ZERO distance of the current price.
I'm testing the Active Trade. If anyone has more brokers with the above features, let me know so I can test.
not yet opened in order FT, but BT is so, see:

Many thanks for that update Luizinho but i have same problem like merlin on 1H and 4H EA don't open orders but when i put it on 1M it works

nice test rmsinfo it looks like that EA still gives great results + 1200% in just under 3 months. Can you do the same test for pepperstone "razor" ECN account?

this is cool ea , and if using it with lowest spread it will be high profitable , but i dont know whats problem with this ea , in backtest it open many orders but when put it in real account or demo account its not open and very rare when open position in h1
and on 1 min tf i used it with different brokers and its place orders on some brokers and on some not place , very strange
i think theres problem with ea
 
yes, I think real account may be some limitation of use, since it does not open orders as in the back test.

Look in the tab of the EA messages, see if you have some kind of mistake.

Look in the tab of the EA messages, see if you have some kind of mistake.
O EA não é um HFT.
Não espere que ele coloque muitas ordens, pois estou testando ele em conta demo e tem dia que ele só coloca posições e não abre nenhuma ordem.

Não estou usando ele em conta real. Coloquei ele em teste em uma conta Demo e ainda não posso dizer se é bom.
Assim como você eu busco respostas para todas estas perguntas.
Acredito que tenha mais gente experiente e que possa nos ajudar.
O BT eu fiz no broker F*S micro-cent, EURUSD somente e não sei como seria em outros pares, talvez algum outro tenha testado.
Vamos esperar os resultados.

O EA não é um HFT.
Não espere que ele coloque muitas ordens, pois estou testando ele em conta demo e tem dia que ele só coloca posições e não abre nenhuma ordem.

i check, there is no problem with that, just no open orders in h1and h4 tf

Thanks miszigen, I really enjoyed this EA. The basic version is quiet interesting, and I like so much this kind of dynamic breakout strategy, because it´s simple to implement and understand and more safe than scalpers.
I see a lot of variations that we could implement on it. Maybe a trend confirmation, volatility check, so many variations.

Congrats and thanks for this thread. I´ll play a little bit with it.
 
Luizinho, que bom ver um brazuka na scene.
Realmente o EA está meio estranho, em FT ele não abre quase nada de ordens, em BT abre milhares.
Sobre o SET, cada corretora trabalha diferente, eu por exemplo rodando na Active consegui uma SET que fez isso,

Oh..I forgot to post my BT using EURUSD H1 with TP=40, SL=25 and TS=5, the rest I left the default settings.
Period: 01.01.2015 until now.

rmsinfo, veja se está gerando alguma mensagem de erro no log. Talvez seja os dígitos do broker.
