Suggestion Need coder for very profitable strategy PZ TREND with confirmation indicators.

Hi David

First and foremost many thanks for posting your system. It looks really promising. I trade something similar but use TMA bands and DSS Bressart as a filter. I have not used the Nitro and it looks a significant help.

My only question is why you want to turn this into an EA? I know that most novice traders are looking for an automated system so that they can sit back or whatever but after 7 years of trading full time, all I can say is that I have never come across a single successful EA. Some work for a while before collapsing but none long term.

I know someone who was the moderator for automated systems on a leading forum for over 6 years. He looked at literally thousands and thousands of EAs. None, not a single one, was profitable longer term. Even systems that did well manually collapsed when turned into something automatic.

Given that you rightly recommend trading only during active hours, why the need for an EA? Its only a few hours a day. If its to trade lots of pairs, this in my opinion (for what its worth - maybe nothing) is also an error. Much better to concentrate on one or two instruments and get to know them, especially on low TFs

Excuse the lengthy post and please do not take this as a criticism, its not, quite the contrary, I think your system is good an has real potential. I just doubt that it will work as an EA. I hope you prove me wrong.

Well good morning all, dont give up on this just yet after one day of testing. I am getting a profit but it needs tweeking for sure. These results are with having only the crossover signaling a trade on m5 with nitro at 50%. I was looking at the charts and I am switching to using 15M charts, I think this will produce a better result with fewer trades but less losing ones. The other thing we can try as well is to up the Nitro on the 5mins charts to say 75% and really hit that sweet spot. Thoughts comments??

Hi well I agree with you on a bunch of points. Developing a long term profitable EA maybe like waiting for Godot but we can try. I am working on changing the settings and time frames. I am able to trade this successfully manually so in theory an EA development should be possible. Trust me when I say I have tried almost every system out there including baskets and martingale baskets and hedging with or without baskets etc etc. I am going to play around with the setting on this and trading hours and see where it goes. Here are the results from yesterday on 9 pairs. And thank you for your thoughts. Nice to have the support of other traders as talking to people who have not put the thousands of hours in just dont get it and how much goes into getting to the point of being a profitable one.

Rules to take a trade are simple. Trade only during high volume hours. Take a trade and scalp 5-10 pips in short time frame 5mins. All three indicators must agree with the NITRO strength minimum 50%. Below are the three indicators and a picture. Hope someone with will be interested in this.
The EA needs stop loss, take profit, set trading hours. Push notifications would be nice too :)

Which indicators did you use?
