Excellent thread! This is a thread where everyone can compare indicator performance on a level-standard.

This is the only way to determine the best strategy!
 
Hi Mr Tanaka,

Many EA focus on lower DrawDown, but very rare for an EA to focus on positive Equity ("positive" DrawDown).

Have you considered such a concept? This would work most obviously for a trend EA where the profit is allowed to grow and grow until the trend ends. But it could be considered for other strategies perhaps?

I hope you can consider this in your work. EA testers should also focus more on "positive equity" and less on "minimize drawdown", then maybe we will all be more successful!
 
Ea Backtesting by control point method is completely different than every tick method which is more reliable , so we have to consider only every tick backtest
at the same time tanaka template is so slow in every tick method , So please MR Tanaka if you have idea or input to speed up every tick method

for example , in martingale with pipstep 10 pips , if u use control point method you will find the gap between orders not equal to 10 but unfortunately random gap at most of time , while in every tick method its true and equal to 10 , so this example explain how the result of martingale survive in control point and fail in every tick and real performance

Tanaka San, I think there's a mistake, when opposite_close = true, it closes the running trade, but don't open the new trade, I mean, if there's a sell and indicator turns blue, Super Trend EA closes the sell trade but don't open the buy trade as it should, could you repair please? Other thing, I can see how after I stop tester it paints the Super Trend indicator lines but while it's running, don't show that lines.

Mr Tanaka, busket profit if use many MT4 at one account trading still problem maybe that calculate total profit or lose at trading account, can you make other EA just busket profit only ? This EA just calculate profit/lose at opened pair with magic number. just EA busket profit and read magic number from opened EA.

open all mt4 at one trading account.

i want like this , i put 3 EA or more and every EA multi TF and Multi pair, if one EA reach target busket profit just close all at that EA.

why do this, when sometimes i see EA1 flooting but EA2 profit, that will hedging and make DD low, when pullback all EA can make profit. and if we use 1 account we guard our equity (big equity) , if we separate account trading our equity is small and will MC.

Is this the same Auto TP SL that comes with Flash EA?
It needs upgrade to specify Magic number of trades. I run multiple EA on my account but I would like to use Auto TP SL on only Flash EA trades.

Saidi lets keep this simple... no confusing many mt4.
We open only one mt4 like always and then we use two or more EA's with few pairs...
Each EA calculate its total from magic number and if profit reaches target then closes all of its same magic number trades...
Rest of the trades with other EA are still running.
So this function of busket or basket calculate same magic numbers.
I didnt have time to test last update by master on this issue... I hope you are not testing it wrongly.

I have this profitable trading strategy , But its so tough to trade manually , need your help for making automation this system .

system details :
First of all we selected euro usd pair
We will active 10 buy pending order
on 1.1301, 1.1302 - 1.1309 and 10 sell
pending order 1.1299 to 1.1291

Our profit target 30 to 50 cent or
optional we select in robot

Pips distance between one pending to
other will be optional we can select distance
between one to another order 1 pip or 2 or
any other distance of all pending order

And also we select lot size optional
in rebot we will change lot size same lot
or multiply one lot to on other with 1 or 1.5, 2 or 3 or other

Worst scenario our 20 pending will hit market does't not give us profit.

If we meet our profit target then all active and pending order will be close.
