when backtesting I see it is not respecting the trading hours. My idea is to only activate it before London opening, around 8-9 AM

Just a comment on this EA.
Default setting will not work.
Initially it was created without TP only SL.
You have to optimize the X1-X4 parameters, using H1 Chart.
below is EURJPY with optimized set file, without TP (also included)

if this is ai ....i m not afraid of....the x1 to x4 values are simply weights of the ac indi with several periods...we can simply set the periods into the settings...this would be also a method to optimize....greetings from munich R
For 5 minutes. We put it in a good quality backtest, and if it fails, it will show in 2 minutes. Play a little with the input parameters, but if you cannot make a significant change in backtest results, it's game over, time to move on.
I know backtest is not 100% reliable, but it CAN show you if an EA is worth your time or not.

The above mentioned EA, with (or without, same result) your settings with 99% modelling. It eats your profit in a single day, basically there is no limit on when to open an order, so it opens orders like it's in an unending loop. And every single one loses. In fact it is so bad, I'm considering reversing the 'strategy'
Or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Is it martin type? Daily 600%?I am testing really dangerous EA on my live account that I made myself. It could manage to make 600% profit last week. It's very scary, but very profitable and very interesting.
No, I don't think so. Maybe one could call it anti martingale. Trend following strategy, but very aggressive. Opens a lot of additional positions, in the right direction. Daily 100-200% profit is easy. But I'm struggling with when and how to take profit. I manually closed 100% profit 3 times. Sometimes, 10-20% must be taken, if not, profit turns to loss.
