I am currently testing (on live) the new flexEA, but i am also testing this one (tweaking on back tester), and perhaps switch it to live soon.
If i take this to live do i need to contact someone?

That is a good question! There are many versions and demos out there some with expiration dates I can imagine. My contact with the thread author remains on an analytical level and this is his baby.

Electric, I dont have 24hr/VPS, would this EA still be ok if i just "monitor" it during my trade time, and close it towards the end of my session? Or is it a MUST to be running 24hrs?

Believe it or not I do not know....The timing is all about when you start this EA as many are getting different results until they can synch up with my testing slice.
This tells me the answer to your question may be no.

P.S. Semi-automatic EA's are the best, there are no set & forget EA's in my opinion. It is very difficult to put the market in a can. On my work account I run 3 EA's...sometimes all at once...sometimes not.
P.S. S. Dude you are a trader right? where is your VPS for only $24.99/Mo.? You got to breakdown and ask yourself what is important in my life...What do I spend my time with? I understand that money is real tight...heck there is none during the pandemic...but get your ducks in row as soon as you can and good trading to you.

Totally agree, yes I am a trader and more of a "semi automatic" style.
Concerning VPS, never really thought about the need for one to be honest, in my part of the world, I can easy trade/monitor ALL of the london session and some of the newyork session. So that gives me a large window for possible trades.
The only issue is of course catching a trade and wanting it to run through the night, but for the those i have my risk/cash management in place. Or perhaps 'missing' a trade through the asian session, but again, i have over 8 hours to catch another trade the next day.
Perhaps for people like yourself and other timezones, a VPS is a must because you are asleep during the most active hours of the forex markets.

Yes I can agree with this, some EA's need super low spreads and very fast connections to the server.

Welcome Back everybody! The SoeHoe site was down for me here in the USA for several days and I realized how I have grown fond of this website over the last few months. Does anybody know what happened? I understand even in Indonesia it was down so it was not a regional gateway issue. If it were a bandwidth issue with their provider it would not have taken several days to solve that. If they were performing maintenance they could have posted a message...no this was more than that. Maybe admin could point us to an official message that explained what happened? I know you are reading this thread!
