Hello, thanks for the infos! So you didn't modify the MaxTrades parameters as suggested by Shady himself in a previous post?
 
I had 3 different unlimited version AF Global EA, I make hex edit compare. All result are different ....
 
For example:
Look at the picture in post #209 upload by lucifer1985 , the clock of chart USDJPY is frozen at 21:00:00, different with other chart.
This can cause loss. I often experience it. so that I can run again then I have to restart it,
Maybe there is any solution ?
 
Afg: The fast money seduces to naivety and carelessness, but a wrong entry point and a 1000 dollar account with only one pair (0.01 Lot) is history. Example: gbpjpy (start: 8 November with 0.01 lot, account balance $ 1000) -> Bang! Even with $ 2000 on the account, you would not survive the situation. Such situations are not rare...

Pointing out the flaws of an EA is important, I get it.

But what is even more important is what we can do to avoid our accounts from being blown up in situations like these.

Apart from not using this EA (which is not the point of this thread), do you have a solution that can benefit the members of this forum thread. What are your suggestions?

strongly agreed....unless this ea have a global stop during one way long trending direction left over huge floated open trade

Very good ea, When there is news the open trades, are closed minutes before together with the ea?? or is only the ea disabled? How can you do so that the open trades of the pair involved in the news are also closed????? because if they are open during the news the dd will go up a lot and then the news filter will be useless.

i blvd news filter just disabled to open new postion
 
Tested with low or medium risk setting EURUSD from Jan 10th with 2.5k equity. See what happen from Jan 11th to 15th 2018. Is somebody still have what was the news available on Jan 11th 2018 see if news filter will help with this situation?

Just got the past ff news on jan 11th to 15th 2018 at gmt+2 same as bcktested server time.

The news filter should disable the main autotrading, so no new positions are opened, and I think also running positions are not closed and managed anymore by the EA until the main autotrading go back to on, so news filter on this type of EA is useless.

You should be lucky to not have any running positions before news so news filter disable opening new positions but this EA has always running positions

You need at least 5 k equity better 10 k.
Just let run the EA on 5 pairs with 0.01 Lot to start (LotExponent not higher as 1.4)
Then you can sleep quietly.
