This EA is soo good on backtesting, scared to try it on a real account tho

You have set the gold spread too low in the tester. You should actually modify it to 250.

 

Did you do tickdata BT with 99,9 % ?

 

I see.... But I always use spread (current) in backtest.
Current Gold spread is 20.

Hi, I am triyng to backtest with Tick data. (result not good) However The EA close trades even if I dont set any SL reverse close or Whatever.
Why it close trades? What is it based on?


BTW: afther saw equity line I set; of course; reverse entry. But same results.
there is some problem witch cause to close trades....

50 pips = 500 points

 

But actual real spread is shown 20.
Should I test with 200 ?

 

Yes, for gold backtest, you need to manually set the spread to 200 (only for gold).
This is a bug for the Metatrader tester.
