I do not always post about this EA in this thread...I also post about trading.
I think one of the biggest mistakes we make as traders is to not forward-test long enough to evaluate an EA. I think even the Backtesters can admit this too. How long is enough? I would say 1 month...2 months even better. But the market must change character at least once during your backtesting slice so it may take longer than 1 or 2 months. The best scenario is to get extreme stress and for the market to find new levels during your test.
I want to give a prelude to the future with these reports that I am providing in this thread. If we blow up during the "soon to happen" character change I will simply restart and trade longer TF's on the GBPUSD and maybe the EURUSD with v2.2. We have it dialed down as low as M15 and even M5 just now. Forget M1 with the current settings and EA logic as it has already been tested by the Thread Author and it blew up on both the EURUSD and GBPUSD. The posts are early in this thread.
The Thread Author is rather smart but rather busy just now privately. He gave me the settings to test with from the get-go and they are not mine. My tools and reports are mine. I suspect if you contact him with that telegram link and request suggestions for tests he will give you something to do as I am full. He is not really at a stage of testing any longer and now wants this EA to trade live. I hope I am not out of line for posting this, but this is "my take' on where v2.2 is at.
I felt that I should communicate with you traders as I am one of you and you need to know.

Yeah me too...lol I have now installed the MQ4 file that I had filed away in a safe environment. I had to take a 30 buck loss in each EA and get flat to install the file without the expiration date...damn.

Give it 30 days to level out and it is my experience it will be less. You can use less than 6K if you can tolerate a high DD percent.

The EA survives and takes a breath just now. The two Tf's are sitting at ground zero waiting for movement with light exposure. The News Filter functions correctly and at the time of this post AutoTrading is disabled.
The M15 has held on to its 1.17% Max Floating DD seen as compared to the Demo-Invested start balance of $6,000.00. Mathematically, if you were to cut your start balance down to $600.00 the DD would be 11.70%. I am not suggesting that anybody should trade this EA especially at reduced balances. I am just illustrating how this report can be used. The DD seen will increase as this forward-test matures. The longer it takes for the breach of the Max DD to be seen the more profit that can be banked thus giving the ratio a buffer. A positive ratio takes this EA into a beautiful place to be. Treat this as your Forex Savings account that will give your speculative funds a 25% APR easily. The longer you survive in this EA the more it becomes the safety that you can realize with your Speculative Forex Trading Account funds.
