Hello, Tanaka, thank you very much for your work, I offer a new way of thinking, this market is guaranteed not to lose money first, in order to make money. Use a no redraw indicator, or a combination of two indicators, as an order signal. 0.1 lot, if stop loss, signal again, open order 0.2 lots, stop loss again, open order 0.4 lots next time. When earnings can balance past losses, subtract some lots, leaving 0.1 to go. If 0.1 starts to profit first, the next order is still 0.1. If it lose money, double it next time. As long as the indicator has a 40 % winning percentage. This is 100 % able to beat the market. Please consider my suggestion . I 'd love to share your coffee money. My English is so bad that I don't know how to upload the indicator. I suggest you use indicator<wan shell>. thanks

If you can find an indicator of 50 % of the winning percentage, this method will surely succeed.

It seem so hard for me that can only program "hello world" application...I cant promise but I m sure the answer it 99% yes(for me)....it is only a question how much effort is needed....in the most cases it is better to recode the EA(if U know the strat)...and the results have to be VERY good to convince me to do this....
You have a small window where the information where the trades are...the name of the window is the same on every MT4...so just write a method with C# which reads the updates and read this method from a extern dll in your expert advisor...
Maybe just get the information over the standard DDE communiction....this will be an easier way of coding for the most guys(and girls)

Just modified as I would do this...it s free for optimizing...I m convicened in the flat trading time there are very good setups...

What broker are you using?
The code already in latest Tanaka san Template, to pause trade if equity drawdown reach some percentage. Further functions can choose, close only, close and pause trade or prefer pause only.
similar to my strategy , if we can find sweet ratio between TP SL and EA with decent winning ratio , sure will beat the market, one weakness , some EA will sometime have long consecutive loose trade, account balance can can blown quickly if we dont limit the double lot. You can try the strategy with some EA here , already coded and with template feature suitable with the strategy.

Hope to program this idea is possible.
The idea is linked to the Bollinger bands indi. 1hr TF
The EA is required to open a trade once a breakout happened either upper or lower bands after a certain pips.
Example, if the price broke the lower band and move away for >10 pips then buy trade is opened with TP xx and SL xx
The same goes for the upper band after break then sell trade
The number of pips break from the BB to be variable as it needs to be tweaked for every pair based on statistics

- An option to “close position only if in profit” - user preference.
