Hi!
The first reading of data from the website is done when starting the EA. The following loads are done approximately every 1 hour, to avoid the IP limits that Myfxbook has, since if you reach the limit, the website does not load

Are you able to add an input selection to select the interval to reload the sentiment data, like 1hr, 30mins, 15mins, etc.

Yep,last week,the all JPY down,so the default setting will go a big DD for your account.
I will test the agensit neet week

This sentiment trading has a huge potential in that it is single shot without grid or martingale.

Don't have TP and SL. although it has exit function when the sentiment drops.

Ran 2 demos with 0.1 lots and 28 common forex pairs.

1 account with tp at 500points and 0 sl. Another account with tp at 500points and sl at 100 points.

At first, the account without sl made about 338 while the other made 298.

Now the account without sl has a loss of 490 while the other still has a profit of 50.

Myfxbook Forex Sentiment indicator & EA

I have created this Free MT4 EA to test if it is more profitable to trade in favor of the mass sentiment of traders or it is better to go against it.

The EA is multi-currency and open or close orders based on the website:

Remember to authorize this url in WebRequest options in MT4


You can choose any currency pairs you want (I recommend major pairs with less spread) as long as you have them active on MT4 Market Watch.

If the EA is configured to trade in Favor of Market Sentiment, it will open trades in currency pairs that are equal to or higher than the default percentage value chosen (Default 80, but you can choose the percentage you want) and close if it goes down. at 50%

If you want to choose to trade Against of Market Sentiment, suppose that the market sentiment is more than 80% Long in EURUSD, then the EA would open a sell order in EURUSD and the order would be closed when the Long drops to 50%

To Be Honest , this is long term EA,...It's not scalper , no grid, no Martingale,...etc,..But it deserve a chance as it profits constantly in long term period.. It needs patiance , and waiting (sometimes a few weeks) , and sometimes it close the trade in loss ...But , I think that is easy to deal with that !

100 % agree with this statement. Long term observation necessary.

Some small details cought my eyes ,..I saw opening/closing time are different as mine are not before XX:04:00 but yours are often earlier.. What is different ? Broker , account type, spread , vps speed , or...just pair cross ?
