the myfxbook is running gbpusd, eurusd, usdjpy, usdcad,audusd,eurjpy just set and forget with default settings unless you optimize your own
it is spread-adaptive... this means you will get the same kind of trading on any pair with various spreads except different frequency of trading.
the lower the spread the more trades.
the lower the commission the more trades.
the higher the spread the higher the profit factor...
in theory if you are patient enough you have profit in live... but must use multiple terminals

yes... the only things it doesnt like:
is if the stoplevel is > 0.
or if broker limits number trades per second... like rakuten.au

basically need no limits anywhere

you know how to set up the multple terminals?

I will see if I can find some time to do some instructions

dont bother with rakuten the have limit of 1 trade request every 2 seconds
dont bother with fxcc they have 1point limit for stoplevel even that too much for monkey cause any error in mt4 adds about 500ms to execution
dont bother with xm they have 60points stoplevel limit...

the list goes on and on and on.... i dont have enough resources to test all brokers but i have not found any with good spread and commission...

you can make profit with the higher commission brokers but need to be very paitient

i high cost broker is somwhere where spread + commission for eurusd is over 9points...

further info:

a broker with commission that is higher than spread ... is good why?

because means the total cost of trading is consistent and good for trailing stops... you will have larger gains
it means that the total spread + commission will not fluctuate much in comparison ... eg if spread for eurusd is 2 points and the commission is 6 points or ( 6usd if have usd based account )... means spread fluctuates less than 50% of the overall total trading cost.... this means when trailing stop is tight... its less likely to be hit due to spread widening

a good example of such a broker is FPmarkets

sorry man, we dont do sets or timeframes here. its not about the "favourite" set... ALMOST ANY SET IS REDONKULOUS PROFIT!

we are just trying to get it to work in real

i actually gave up on making set files soooooooooooo long ago.. when i make an ea i make sure the default set is the one i would use.... cause really when i add the ea to the chart. i am done man. i am f*** tired of the code and probably just dont want to paste a stupid set that has no value to getting the strategy working for real. And then theres the human error.... make set files and you got human error. I am gonna write a book.

Step:1
Create 12 folders on the c:\ of your vps




step 2:
install mt4 12 times - one to each folder



SO ALL THESE FOLDERS HAVE THEIR OWN INSTALLATION OF MT4

step3:
put the ea there




step4
open each terminal... note I always put a shortcut in the windows startup folder so any vps restart all 12 mt4 open and carry on trading
[no pic dammit just open them all it takes time]

step5
foreach mt4 put the ea there and set the Terminal...
be vigilant ye? this one is delete


step6b: this one is modify


step 6c: this one is send



step 6d:
add another for send but higher velocity


Repeat that for each pair to make up the 12 terminals... GBPUSD, EURUSD, USDJPY

you get the picture? no pun intended


BUT note....

mt4 account can only support 16 order threads
I suggest 12 because in computing and performance you always need a little room... THIS CAN ONLY DO 3 pairs... if you want more then trade another account. ie 1 for GBPUSD, USDJPY, EURUSD, and another for EURJPY, USDCAD, AUDUSD or which ever is your fav.

FURTHER note...
only trade monkey on 1 vps.. no other ea... and use somewhere like 8gb ram and 4 cores... i didnt say it was going to easy

That is madness... after all these years. sure you can and ea will "pretend" to trade but what actually happens?

monkey use about 16-15ticks to calculate velocity.... how many ticks are you loosing after order send say if had 125ms execution? ( btw thats the myfxbook avg, its dependant on volatility but recenctly is around 7-15ticks lost per request made to broker.... i am not talking your asian session... the hot session you know ) dont forget on every tick the ea need to check modify and delete and send more orders... but common man... next line of code is executed when broker says... ok got your result... need proof?

you can use just 3 terminals or whatever combination you like... thats why i put the setting ALL there... dont have to be so mad but i assure you need one for each.

I am allowed to be mad... i have worked hard for it

need to put real money on your vps aswell, like get 8gbm and 4cores and needs < 2ms ping so co locate your vps with broker... its part of your investment

and i mean it... dont trade a stupid martingale on same vps a monkey... only monkey

when i play online games they call me noob.....

monkey is not for noobs

dont worry you dont need 12 terminals its only demo... but the vps shuts down in a few days and i am not gonna run it but might be cool for you guys to see an account go through the roof.

As I said before I am abandoning this strategy forever... I have something else.
