Maybe,... Version 2 will be based on SL with MM and no more basket trading, meaning if the price turned, order will closed at end of renko box realizing the loss.

I replaced V1 with V2 (with Position Sizing and closed losing trade with SL) a few hours before FED Powell's comment.

His comments just send Gold price rocket up !!!

You are Right. Renko works well with trend.

It is calculated based on SL.
So V2 is cut loss when wrong, there will be no basket trading.

Dear jk i want renko backtest?but i couldnot ,can you give idea ? how do renko backtest?
 
I have stopped AKRenkoStrategyV2 on my live account for this week.
In range market, profits got eroded, about half the profits got from the rally was lost.
So, I decided to stop.
Need to study further on Renko charting.
Any suggestion?

1) add trend filter (true/false) with 3 mas confirmation.
2) add hedging function (true/false) with multiple.
3) add SL by ATR multiple.

yes pity I also stopped the v2, it's a pity because the v1 was perfect except for the non-existent sl.

I am also less familiar with the Renko chart
maybe we can search for more information about this
