Change broker. My broker is ECN and regulated. My broker let me make $13million last year. I would have more if I didn't f*ck myself up with Yen Flash Crash.

Settings need adjustment to improve performance.
I am studying Good Arrow Indicator EA right now and will return to this later.

Did you download history into MT4 History Center?
Backtest is VERY slow... below is my current progress after one week. I am testing for 2018. It is almost futile to backtest.
Just put on a Demo account and see how it performs. You can test the Preset files from this thread, from the original files, or create your own.
Please share your results here with Presets so others can try for themselves too!

Thank you very much, BluePanther, but I have Backtest on the Tick Model "Contrpol Points" very good results, but when using it on a Demo account, the result is lost because the SL is very short, despite the $ 11 profit but still lost the fee of EC EC-43USD
Is this EA not working on Real account? Why? Can you ask Mr Takana for help?

Maybe it is just me? It wouldn't open trades on Real, so I copied from Demo.

But with performance, Mr Tanaka will probably not be able to assist. It is not programming issue, but setting issue:

1. firstly, setup with a True ECN broker and fast VPS is required,
2. secondly, parameter settings of Holy Grail EA is important.

I think then performance can be improved.

We need to use OrderModify to set a stop-loss and take profit level. Since I can't see the code, I don't know what's in it but maybe this is the reason.

Hello Notto, did you find out why it didn't enter the command for ECN Real account? Currently, for my Demo ECN account, it still trades, but I haven't tried real account, because some Brokers are very dangerous because Slippage, I see this EA using tralingstop about 15 points. I send the results of the Trade Demo to you.

I had similar bad results on ICMarkets ECN.
Back test were excellent with low DD but when forward test on demo big losses.....shame. Not sure if optimizing is worth doing because the default set back tests were that good but in reality results very poor....no holy grail for me!

ping does not affect, I tried the PC ping on 200ms, and 1 vps ping 60-70ms, 1 vps ping 2-5ms, the result is still active, you should press F2 on mt4 and download all time frame, I think so.

Do you mean for backtesting or forward testing? I understand that for backtest ping doesn't matter, but for forwartest, I think it does matter a lot because this EA is a scalper. Another parameter that matter is the commission. As the EA wanted to close the order as fast as it gets some profit, It needs to know the correct profit after subtracting the commission. You should add your commission value in the EA parameter too.
