Used that too. Blew it with the same amount of movement. Its best not to trade Gold during news but there wasnt really any today. I had high hopes with this EA with news filter built-in.

FYI - Gold moved beyond 1000 pips! Do not use 0.01 per 1k with this EA guys. One of my demos has blown. Conservative ones are still ok.

The Gold Mining didn't lose two days ago when the the gold Catcher v2 made this huge draw down ....

It opened three trades which were profitable ....

the ea is very good, but Back test is slow...The idea of news filter sucks, i think is this function that slow down the Backtest! I am don't use it with my money, but with an external patrimony, eheheeh(VERY BIG ACCOUNT). I would to see if it can keep low draw down with big account!

Hi,

Sharing the Gold Catcher V2 with you guys. There is also V1 in the zip file which opens only buy orders. I use V2 on real account. Be patient with this EA, sometimes it wont trade for two days and then trades constantly. Depends on the volatility. Add the news filter into indicators folders but dont attact it to the chart. The EA will add it for you. Just enable it in the settings. It will use 0.01 per 1k if you use default settings.
The screenshot has my settings on it. Dont be greedy with Gold!
Last week it made 900$ on 10k depo. This week only 300$. The DD will not go crazy with this either thanks to higher pip step. Its a martin EA. Max hedges I have seen in the last two weeks was 4. Every trades will have greater pip size so dont be suprised it doesnt open many trades.
Its a unlimited EA, use on demo or live. Enjoy.

I Tested now for 1 Month Gold Catcher V2 with all other pairs (20Pairs same time) but NOT GOLD! Low draw down , good performance! Does somebody has same experience? 20 Pairs a' 0.01LOT = 2000Usd

Yea I noticed that too. Somehow I trust this EA on gold than any other I used like Traideringer and Goldmining EA. This EA seems to be playing the 1k per 0.01 game lot better. I lost money in the past with other EAs I mentioned but not with this one so far. Its hedging is way better. I cant tell what the pip step is but when an order goes in negative, you might not see another trade for hours or days but when it does, it works really good. I guess thats why the DD doesnt go crazy as you wont see many orders.

tq for sharing this tools. the EA is quite double edge sword due to no Fixed lot size control available ( Compare with Gold Mining does available from 0.01 lot).

in my opinion , (Demo / or Real account)

Gold Mining EA = suitable for user who start from small deposit account.

Gold Catcher EA = Once, your account balanced becomes larger. Try This EA.

Test on different brokers at the same time, also incurs different results (Demo).

Gold Catcher v2 triggered BUY. in 1 of the mt4.

but direction goes / still going to sell..... ( alot ) minus 4,000 pips ~~
