Suggestion FiboActiveBot - good tool with EA possibilities.

Hi everyone,

I want to share some tactic ideas with you. New_v2 has wide possibilities and
options, allow optimization and backtest. I dont consider backtest as something
outstanding - but it helps to learn more about options and affect to final results.

I know that we can make good profit in optimization, but I dont find it useful too
much for future trading... it works well just in the past and sets were optimized
for exact price quotes in the past. I dont like test for a long time period - results
are just too average and still - definetly good for past performance.

I use backtesting in case to find out the affect of option in different circustamses.

Main feature of the FAB - you can visually see each signal in the past and I have tested
it a lot - it doesnt repainted. It means, we can consider past signals for some future
decisions.

Tip #1:

I love EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY pairs a lot. Most of the time, fluctuations are
really good. I use to check past 5-9 signals and based on WL and picture (visual) -
take a decision about activate or disable trading on each pair. It helps to take the
best. And it doesnt matter if I leave just single pair.

Tip #2:

I dont make it too much complicated. I use traditional things. I dont have VPS at the
moment and use MT4 just active time (I mark it as 7 to 20 GMT). I suppose, this time
period is quite good and safe. Also, I'm able to run it without any problems on laptop.

As for settings - I prefer 3 ways:
1) TP 25 SL 30 - Lot2x enabled - TSL with late start, to allow price touch the TP.
Normally, it looks like Tstart 6, Tlevel 12... it means TSL starts on 18 Pips... which
is quite away from the SL and pretty close to TP. You don't risk too much to get just
small profit by TSL. Friday trading is disabled.

2) TP 25 SL 90 - COS enabled - Lot2x enabled - TSL with late start, to allow price touch the TP.
Normally, it looks like Tstart 6, Tlevel 12... Friday trading is disabled.

Almost same as above, late TSL allows to get good chances for TP. High SL helps to avoid SL on
DD due news reasons etc. COS helps to avoid SL... I faced with SL ... I suppose, never... it
could be a reason on big news... but most of the time - signal changes quite fast and you get
out by COS.

A bit more risky from the 1, but still like it a lot.

3) TP 25 SL 90 - COS enabled - Lot2x enabled - Friday trading is disabled.

I suppose, that TSL and BE... these options take lots of possible profit from one hand, but
make it safer for trading on price reversals... But I think, this way is quite good as well.
Take clear TP instead of small profit by TSL/BE options.

Anyway, since my last expiriences with LATE TSL start - I find this way as worse. But still
exist and open for possible testings.

I have attached 3 screenshots from backtesting on GBPJPY with these sets for 1 month (20/03 to 20/04)
The best results comes from sets #1, than sets #2 and the latest place for sets #3

I suppose, it could be much better if I did optimization etc... But I dont find it useful...
I just use sets and tactic I use to use normally.

If you like other options, you can always find solution and make analyze... everythings is open
in latest version I shared. If you dont find it useful - I'm sorry, I cant do anything else for you.

If you find it useful - I'm happy and will try to do the best I can for future updates. I'm not
full time trader, it's kind of hobby by now. I'm learning a lot lately. All my thought - just my
honest opinion and I dont want to argue or proof anything else. I just want to say, that I used
and tested a lot of tools in the past... and this one - one of my favorites. I have few others,
and I will definetly share it here soon...

Hi Andy!

Once again thank you for your great job! Just a minor bug regarding notifications:

When the filter is activated in my opinion we should get notifications only when the signals are in line with the trend (the filter is active for this), but as it is right now we get notifications with all the signals (doesn’t care about filter value).

I haven’t tested the alarms as I use notifications but most probaby will have the same behaviour.

Just for you to note if you want to change it for future versions :)

podría ser una razón para las grandes noticias ... pero la mayoría de las veces, la señal cambia bastante rápido y obtienes
fuera por COS.

Un poco más arriesgado desde el 1, pero aún así me gusta mucho.

3) TP 25 SL 90 - COS habilitado - Lot2x habilitado - El comercio del viernes está deshabilitado.

Supongo que TSL y BE ... estas opciones toman muchas ganancias posibles de una mano, pero
hacerlo más seguro para operar con reversiones de precios ... Pero creo que de esta manera también es bastante bueno.
Tome TP claro en lugar de pequeñas ganancias por las opciones TSL / BE.

De todos modos, desde que comenzaron mis últimas experiencias con LATE TSL, esto me parece peor. Pero aún
existe y abierto para posibles pruebas.

I dont want to proof anything or argue... above I have shared backtest on one pair with 3 type of sets, which I used in the past and
made backtest to show the difference (most of the time TSL worse... just with high start it allows to touch TP). Signals are visually
available... So, just ignore the tool... probably, it doesnt suitable for you. I have NO IDEA. SORRY.

PS: if you made profit backtest for any tool for past 5 years - it has very low chances to be profitable
on current Market. Why? Too much avearge plus all these options will be fine in exact situation in the past.

For me backtest is the way to see how option affect the final results. Not ideal, but just an idea for
tactic... and once again - signals are visually available... you can take trades manually or 1-2 next
signals... you can on/off a pair (remember tip #1 - check signals daily, chose pairs before start trading). This help a lot, but traders still search for easiest way and set & forget style. IMHO

Si pudieses hacer esta mejora seria interesante actualmente entra la señal en el cierre de la segunda vela de M30 si pudiese entrar en el cierre de la primera vela , ganariamos 30 minutos al mercado y creo que mejorariamos los resultados.

Que el retraso de la señal sea menor ganemos 30 minutos y asi poder alcanzar antes el objetivo.

Otra cosa si pudiesemos hacer backtest en otros time frame , M15 O H1 igual tendriamos mejores resultados.

Creo que el EA tiene una base de trabajo buena pero con la ayuda de todos podemos mejorarlo
