I got this EA from my friend. He said with capital 500$ can profit 40% per month. But he said need a good set can give good profits. So, i need your help to test run this EA and share your set file here.

I think this EA from LBO (London Breakout Order) technic.. what i know from this technic, only trade 1 post in 1 day.. correct me if im wrong..

This ea will be potential from what I have seen from BT Results of Avishek. Thanks a lot to you, and Avishek.

Well, if this is strategy based on London Breakout, why don't we try on GBPUSD as well ? Because London breakout refers to GU mainly.

I will give this ea a TRY, and do both BT and Optimization at 99% modelling quality, and then, share some profitable set files here for EURUSD and GU next week.

By the way, I wonder if we can use same settings on different brokers or not ? Because if the trades are placed at some fixed time during London Breakout, due to different brokers that have different GMT Offset, then, will we need to adjust the clock / gmt offset in the codes of the ea so that it can know and only places trades at correct time ?

Can you please check with your friend about my questions on GMT Offset for different brokers above ? And advise detailed information here?

I agree with Avishek that this ea is more profitable with lower drawdown on M15 timeframe than on 1h timeframe.

Here is my set file for Eurusd, M15 timeframe (optimized since Oct 1, 2014 to Oct 2nd, 2015): 100 usd deposit, net profit nearly 300 usd. Modelling quality at 99%.

Within 1 year, an ea can make net profit of 273% is very good already. You can increase risk by 1.5 because 37.13% Relative Drawdown is quite controllable because max drawdown is only around 20%.

1 means TRUE, and 0 means FALSE.

Please try to do another BT with 90% and compare. Also, please run FT with my above set file on M15 of Eurusd and share your results here.

Can you ask your friend that with his set file that you shared in this thread, he got rather high Max drawdown OVER 60% in some months, right ? I just want to check with BT Results to see if they are matching or not ?

Also, you can use my above set file on demo account, and will compare if my above set file is more profitable with lower drawdown or not . My set file is on EURUSD, M15 instead of on 1H Timeframe.

If you have source code, you can share here, and we will try to modify it with some trend filter to increase higher win rate %, more profits, and lower drawdown.

As i am not very experienced in back testing up to now, i worked on the settings for the London Breakout Last90 EA settings.

And i have found a very good setting for 5 min !
BT for 1 month and 5min TF:

I doin't know, if the pic is uploaded, it is my first thrad with pics.., so here again:

And as i used this settings since 3 days, i also got about the same results, about 50% in 3 days !

Howevery i don't understand the time settings:
As it shows from 3 - 8:00, it started here at middle european time at about 8:00am = 6.00 GMT.
But it also opened a trade in the afternoon at 2 PM.
And every change in the time settings in back test only gives a more worse result...

But...: i also want to show a 5 months back test with same settings...

It only came very late into profit, and overall not much more profit than in the last month.
So somehow it only works in special market situations ?

thats a good breakout ea. on bt i use tf M15, EntryFactor=0.55 and TPFaktor=3.1. i will try it on demo. do you have the mq4-file?
