New EA Amenothes EA

Bonjour alcazard ! le soleil est de retour ici en France!

Do you have any update for me to test? I have removed all EA's at the moment. Waiting for new toy.

I am doing several tests to try to find the problem
 
I am testing v1.72 since Friday just to use the time wisely while the bugs are getting cleared out. I have dropped it on 28 ATR Balanced M30 charts. I have the News filter turned on. I am using a lot multiplier of 1.2 with a manual lot 0.01. DD StoplossPct=50.0, Floating TP Pct= 0, Dollar TP = 5.0, End of Trading Day= Friday.

So far it has taken 5 Tp's of 5 bucks with just 0.01 lotsize...no progression...maybe I need 1.3.

While waiting....I am forward testing all 28 pair(I changed the lot multiplier to 1.45 per alcazard). Below is a setfile for the EURUSD (v1.72). I have a different setfile for each symbol according to its range(28 setfles).

I must say this forward-test is going rather well...but it is not official as my internet went down for 14 hours...the technician just gave me a new modem (my navigation is twice the speed with my new Century Link C3000Z). But I still have achieved 8 resets ($5.00 each) with only $14.44 DD on a 6k account.

I wish we could set progressions in specified sequences...such as 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.02, 0.02, 0.03, 0.03, 0.04, 0.04, 0.05, 0.08, 0.11....etc (30 inputs or a comma separated single input). This power together with the pipstep multiplier could cause the EA to make money in usual trading ranges and to survive those 1,000 pip trending moves. I can "mathematically" make this EA bullet proof with these variances if I am granted this wish.

Perhaps we could take up a collection for Jean-Leon to put all of the Symbols within the EA (don't worry I can break my custom inputs up into groups like I do in the Life Changer EA for the variance of ATR ranged settings) and to give us lotsize sequencing. I know this will be a giant project.

Is it me or do I see double pairs in the first post? If I remove the double pairs, I get to 24 pairs? Can we have a correct list?

Check this EA's inputs and look towards the bottom...this is a PipStep configuration that gives you a lot of power....(by the way I am testing this EA on all 28 pair on the M15 also and it is rising to the top) Just adjust the PipSteps according to my ATR chart.

I do not have the MQ4 file.

To those of you patiently waiting...

Could you folks imagine Amenothes with a "Graduated" PipStep dialogue and a "Sequenced" Marty dialogue with the ability to enter all the pair inside of the EA instead on each chart?

Unfortunately an EA with all of those features together would cost thousands of dollars. We cannot expect freelance coders working for free to publish such a work of genius. I could imagine that there would be so many lines of code it may overwhelm not only us but the MT4 platform itself. It would take some fancy coding with algebraic/geometric shortcuts to streamline such a thing. There are coders that can do such a thing but I am afraid there are not many that trade also.

Attached is the Life Changer EA to illustrate an input dialogue with fields for 28 pair...I do not have the MQ4 file. I have broken it up in 10 groups (10 installs of the EA on 10 tabs) of symbols grouped according to my ATR chart. The Life Changer EA is my favorite EA and I trade it live at with the 5%er's. I will attach my graph from the 5%er's of its progress (This is not Amenothes but I believe Amenothes can surpass Life Changer) .

ElectricSavant Thanks for your latest posts, very interesting stuff. I do believe that in the future, if we continue to test/suggest and Alc & Jean weave their magic we could potentially hit upon 'something good'. The problem tends to be with settings and parameters 'out of reach' when dealing with ex4 files, but now that we have the bones from our previous project I think we have potential. Hence, its always better to have the mq4. Having feedback from you and showing available ex4 functionality is a great way to show to Alc.
