Hi, Do you think it's possible to have the same EA on differents windows using differents sets like ADP2,ADP3 & ADP4 to maximise profit ?

 

sure mate, that's what I do, just change the magic to avoid messing up the trades

 

I have tested ADP3 and ADP4 separately on the same demo account. ADP4 executed a trade last night. So far, it appears that ADP3 and ADP4 do not trade at the same time. Looking forward to further testing. ADP1 and ADP2 have not been tested yet. This is because I noticed that ADP2 and ADP3 open trades at the same time.

 

Additionally, I noticed a strange issue. This EA always opens orders at the exact top of the hour. For example, last night it opened an order at exactly 1:00 AM. However, many platforms are closed at the exact top of the hour and generally start trading at 1:02 AM. Therefore, my EA missed a trading opportunity last night. I am using the IC platform, and I wonder if anyone else has encountered this situation.

 

i'll try to use it on the same real account but with 2 windows opened ( one by set ) and 2 different magic Number. and i'll see....

I am also trading on IC. I opened a position on the 10th of this month. I have not opened a position on the 13th so far. I use ADP3 to trade.

 

I have nothing open on adp3

No trade for me also ..only one trade at @2904 which already closed.

In the backtest, positions were opened on 2/11 and 2/12, but no positions were opened in the real account. The mt4 diary of the real account shows that the EA tried to open a buy position on 2/12 but failed. I can't know the reason.
