    Hi,

depends on what you are trading and what type of setup you are looking for.
I explained in detail what you can or can't do regarding using this type of settings and charts.

    Hi!

    Indeed.
However, I need the 'Chaos' Oscillator to be an EA.
Everything else isn't quite performing right. soon or later the account could be in a major DD or even be liquidated.
What I learned all these years a 'direct indicator' with 'one' single entry till the market changes in the opposite direction is the 'Safest' mode to be traded. Even if some losses have been incurred with a 'tick' chart you are able to revert your trade quite sooner than any other chart available. The 'chaos oscillator' isn't perfect but it gives a prompt reversal with a 'minimum' damage to your account.

right now I am working on the CFD's charts. (US30) & (Nasdaq)
Nitrofx @ 1550 (BoxRenko) on the 'weekly chart' and Chaos inputs @ 29/38 or 44

It looks quite clean and reliable.

    My two cents ;)

    Love
    J.

I'm running it on 5,15,30 and 60 min charts, settings 25, it does repaint, higher tf should give better result's.
Just wanna see which tf is better, after that will add trend indy, but it is time consuming.
Each of those tf has 4 charts.
I use universal ea, if it works good, will post set file, and trend indy, maybe some one who is good in programming can do ea, even though majority of those people that do programming , they learn it along with trading, I believe that people should be specialised in what they do, half way won't get result's.

5 min didn't go well, not sure if it's repaint issue , any way added trend indy.
Attaching trend indy , both indy's need to be in folder for trendtma to work.

looks better with trend, limit ea to 3 orders, 30 min charts.
Changed chaos_oscillator_1 as arrow indy, so ea is picking up order on each candle.
Problem with trendtma is ea can't read it when in sell mode, maybe someone can program it to work, Mr. Tanaka ?

    Hi Pete! & Loverhh!

I agree with you guys that on the FX charts, the 'Chaos' indi might repaint.
I am in a testing face myself with the forex market.

However, Regarding the CFD Nasdaq & US30, I don't have a repaint issue as much as on Forex Charts. I have a good friend of mine who is using the same settings mentioned in this thread. She is using even a '2000' NitroFx box range with the 'Chaos' between 28/45
    successfully.

    Regarding Forex;

Please try the USD-JPY 5-minute 'Regular Chart' (without NitroFX) Renko system and set the 'Chaos' oscillator with inputs @ '300'.
Below 150 the Chaos does indeed sometimes repaint...
@ 300 it gives a clean-cut trend with no major repaint issue.
    I am testing it myself
I definitely agree with you we need someone to give this a try in building this EA. I am working something through 'The upwork.com' site to see how much will cost to build one. If able I will share it here with you guys. It might be a start.

    Love

    Jessy,
you are right , it does give clear cut trend, and ea is picking it up, just testing it with Arrow indy.
    thx!

    Hi,
EA created, added systemjonss, my personal system, in hedge or martigala it does not accumulate positions, it closes in SL_virtual and opens a martingale or hedge position recovering closed negative positions. For xauusd add a digit to the SL and TP.
If you only want to work with the indicator without martingale or hedge select CloseOrders CloseByIndicator . I will update it if you work and comment here on your intentions.
I only program for credible and demonstrable projects, although this indicator shows a trend.

    HI!

First & foremost, I want to say thank you for considering this project for a possible good outcome.

The BT isn't reliable it needs to be tested in a forward test. Considering also that I'll test it in an 'Offline' box system Nasdaq/US30 (CFD) charts with (NItroFX) @ 1700/2000 with Chaos @ 28/38 Inputs.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I just wonder if you can set a 'Snowball' effect as well.

I saw a coder years ago based in India. Unfortunately, He passed, he was using this Oscillator (Chaos) with a - snowball effect -meaning if the bars are in a direction trend (Buy) or (Sell) the EA was buying or selling each bar followed by a tight TS (Trailing Stop).

So, in case of changing trends, all the trade will be closed and reverse execution accordingly.

    just a thoughts

Thank you very much for your input on this thread.

    Love
    Jessica

    Hi Jooo

    FYI

you, or anyone else might find interesting this site.

    https://sites.google.com/view/forexexpertadvisor/home

I can't understand his language nor I am not able to translate his scripts.
He's really good at using 'hedging + snowball

Please let me know if it might be helpful in creating this EA thread with the 'Chaos' as a filter

    I much appreciate

    L.

Hello, check that, you only sell because you have martingale, I closed the position negatively and the martingale enters, remember that my martingale system does not accumulate positions, it closes them and the open lot calculates the losses to recover them.
If you choose the no recovery or hedge option, the EA will buy on that occasion
