I noticed that when we select close by signal, the virtual TP/SL will not take effect.
Preferrably it should be when we set virtual TP/SL, and when close by signal is selected, the closing of the trade should be 'whichever comes first' basis.
See if this make sense to you.

Just to add, I use an external EA to auto set SL/TP to resolve the issue I mentioned above.
But I notice that if the trade is closed by the SL/TP set by the external EA, it will immediately open a new trade in the same direction of the closed trade, instead of waiting for the next reverse signal. This doesn't seem right even if we based on the criteria of just using virtual TP/SL in the EA settings.

Hi,
If the 'trend' is still going in the same direction it should open accordingly to the trend.
My understanding is if you choose to close by 'signal' (change color) only then it will revert as it should. - This is actually my best option for trading it-.
Mr. jooo00000 is working to improve these features once this Ea has been completed.
Please do not rely on the BT, isn't working right. Only forward testing...

I did test it. It doesn't work cause I am using the 'Offline' CFD chart US30. Spread @ 190 off market. During the market is 100...
Just Wonder if I am able to use these conditions. Otherwise, I might try to test it as philippe5 did on the Euro. That means I need to be back trading the Forex market.
I wish not to.
Btw, did you check this site mentioned previously? What are your thoughts?...

Hi Jooo,
I did indeed with no success. It won't trade at all.
I did try with a regular chart (5 minutes) as well. no trade at all.
I tried with Euro it does work properly. It seems only the Euro will pick up a trade. UJ GU won't either.

I found the issue. The EA is working properly on the CFD charts as well!
Is not working on the 'offline' but really well on the minute chart.

The 'screenshot' in question is about the '24-hour 'Military time frame'
The 'shift_signal_Timeframe' is when the Chaos bar oscillator changes color, needs 1 more bar to confirm the trend accurately. You might increase or decrease by adding '#'s' in the input. '1' is for one bar '2' is for two bars etc...before executing a trade.
