I honestly do not know which profit target is best. Perhaps the next tests should be $5.00 & $10.00. If I had to pick I guess it would be the smaller TP because it might be less exposed. These Forward-Tests tell us a great deal.

HeHe I feel like a sports announcer!
Since this trades all 28 pair....there is always something going on! For example in the heavily exposed $8.00 TP EA the GBPUSD and the AUDUSD is dragging the float down. BUT....we got the CHF counter balancing. The floating balance is ticking very quickly all over the place because there are 21 open trades at 0.01. If it hits plus 8 bucks "Equity Sentry" is there to take all those trades OUT.

Still Trading. "Profit to Max DD seen ratio" has recovered as predicted in the TP $8.00 and now stamps in at 1.06. This is an important benchmark for all EA's. If you wish to have strict filtering here try this....60 Days Forward-Test or more with No DD >$250.00 with a strong positive Ratio. Backtesters require 10 years, Forward-Testors require 60 days...pick your poison, eventually all EA's will fail you (prove me wrong!) no matter if you curve-fit or not.

This EA keeps getting flat ...then the DD stretches to return to getting flat, taking profit each time. The trick is to calibrate the "close-all distance" correctly. I am beginning to think that the next test might be $5.00 and $10.00 after 60 days of this test. ok? what do you folks think?

Hello everybody! It has been 7 calendar days without any action! We now have both TP's reporting positive "Max DD seen Ratio's". Please note that there were over 100 open positions noted in each of these EA's. Equity Sentry closed them all very quickly when the TP's hit!

Today marks the 30th day of Forward-Testing for amenthos v1.71 M30... I have nothing to report since the last report. The Max DD seen has increased since the last report and is nearing a point where I stop Forward-Testing...we shall see. Higher TF's may be necessary.

Which broker did you check this EA at? Has anyone been profitable with Amenothes EA yet. It's very hard to find a satisfactory EA

TradersWay Demo. danielpowter you are wise indeed, but as a reminder I did not stop forward-testing this EA because it failed. I just found a good spot for you traders to take over!
