Both Forward-Tests are flat now. It's always a nice feeling when your EA gets flat after banking some profit. The ATR balancing and the News Filter seems to help this system. Lets see how this goes and if all goes well you can expect 30-60 days of these reports.

I have added a "Close-All" EA to close the trades at the $4.00 & $8.00 target. You need to close the trades with this third party EA named Equity Sentry v1.4c as amenothes is not quick enough to close all of the trades. I have attached it below. I set the DollarTP= 10.0 in amenothes which is > $4.00 & $8.00.

It is amazing how a broken EA can be made to work! There are "work-arounds" for just about everything.

Yes you can

I don't know about Equity Sentry but if it performs well it will close positions for it.

I use another EA for this kind of management, attached here.

use my setfile and it will not.... I could imagine on Fridays this might be nice to use the disable EA option.

This is a handy little utility...it does other stuff too!

Hi all

The modification of the management of the magic numbers did not solve the problem: /

Omani, the EA will not be deactivated, it will simply start from zero after the profit closes.

To stop Amenothes on Friday, use the EndingTradeDay function
 
I leave it open on Friday, I have not tested

Normally if you put Thursday in the settings, EA will not trade on Friday unless positions are still open, then it will continue to open grid positions.
 
Both EA's are flat. It will not be long now until the most important number below becomes reportable and not inverted. The $8.00 EA gives a 1% ROI but during the journey it sees a 1.64% risk. This is based on a 6k account. Naturally, you can extrapolate these numbers into smaller accounts.

I would not trade this live just yet...give it 30-60 days of "Forward-Testing" to learn how to size the account. Remember to view leverage for what it is. Higher leverage simply lets the trader have less money tied up to trade his system. Leverage should never change the WAY one trades. Leverage is a systamatic traders friend.

The bigger target is out front. The purpose of this Forward-Test is on the path to fruition. Will it be clear to all of us that the bigger target is the best setfile? We shall see.

For me, I still want to see how deep the DD goes before the rubber band breaks. Without Marty perhaps the stretch can be endured.
