Hi mnuh69 I have a few questions. I went back to your thread and followed your progress. Can you tell me when you changed to GU only, and how has that been going for you every month? Do you intervene with the EA at all? Or you let it run freely without worry?

Hi Fahim, for the first time, I thought this EA was just the same as other crap martins EA. When I run it on real with 3 pairs EU, GU, and Gold I found that GU was very suitable for this EA in my experience. I run it freely without any intervention and no other filters whatsoever. I hope this will last longer cause like you said there are so many useless EA. So perhaps you can introduce a good EA that is more safer and profitable. Regards.

Bună Fahim, pentru prima dată, am crezut că acest EA este la fel cu alți crap martins EA. Când îl rulez pe real cu 3 perechi EU, GU și Gold, am descoperit că GU era foarte potrivit pentru acest EA din experiența mea. Îl rulez liber, fără nicio intervenție și fără alte filtre. Sper că acest lucru va dura mai mult, deoarece așa cum ați spus, există atât de multe EA inutile. Deci, poate puteți introduce un EA bun, care este mai sigur și mai profitabil. Cu respect.[/CITAT]

It took trades in relatively low volume spikes yesterday, but today after such a big move there has not been a trade so far. Would you say this is working correctly? I would try to find out myself but the EA does not produce any logs in journal for me to troubleshoot so I am asking you. Thanks

This is absolutely normal approach of the EA ....
Somehow, this EA doesn't trade during spikes and big moves of the market hence the low DD ...
How?
I don't know but I am sure of my observations ....

I often see that when there's a spike no order is opened, although the strategy was contra trend. Maybe it's filtered by the custom indi in it which I happened to see and look like this on the tester. But I'm glad this may be the method to make low DD as Whale had said.

Not extra, It's standard and built-in and the owner once makes a separate indi called "Prime Trend" which was released but no longer appears.

It is extremely interesting, I can't really decipher the behaviour but I will keep observing.


On another note, the 4xTitan that I cracked seems to only make lots of profit on raw spreads which are close to zero. I will post my screenshot below:

I will continue to test everything and will update everyone on how things work out. Currently the EAs I am testing:
Golden Elephant with mnuh69 setfile: 1.53% Profit 0.39%DD
4xTitan latest version: 22% Profit with 6% DD
Will be purchasing SS Regen EA soon.

Whale can you tell me how much profit SSR EA makes on avg on a daily basis? Interested in some figures so i can make some calulcations. If not daily, then a weekly average profit would help. Thank you

Highest DD I witness was once 24% and the EA got easily through it ....
Usually the DD plays around the 10-15% maximum ....

The monthly profit can reach up to 50-60% of your initial account with the default settings ....
In average for 3 months the profit is around 40-45% per month ....
Pretty decent I'd say ....

A fresh example:
Since yesterday the SSR made 5.12% profit on my real account ....
That's less than 2 trading days ....
