Question orion ea scalper

That looks high tech. Can't wait to see how it performs..

I have found a user in fb trying to sell this ea for 100$.. even thou its used a demo account but it seems he has the profit setting.. u can find him at EA Forex 2020

Hi Simon,

I'm running the Orion EA with your set-file on EURCHF 5m chart demo account. Results are really good.
The demo account went from 600 to 1350 in 1,5 weeks.

The DD can be a bit high though. I already lowered my lot size to 0.01 and no more than max 10 orders.
I want to find the right settings for a small live account.

Some howe it stil take trades of 0.01 and 0.02 lots and more than 20 - 30 orders at once. Causing a bigger DD than i want.

Can you tell me how to set it up so it only take 0.01 trades and no more than 3% risk or 10 open positions at once?

I am still testing it too. It works best often in tandem with others, i.e. EURCHF EURJPY and EURAUD, but also only EURCHF
I limit the number of positions to a minimum, which is 20 and marti 1

Ok thanks, so Martin to 1 and MaxOrders to 20? Wil the Orion work on other pairs as wel? I thought it was EURCHF 5m only.

Hi,
I have been testing this EA and if you set max orders to 20 it actually gives you 40 - I don't know why?
I have set mine to 10 at the moment but it gives 20 orders which is still risky if you find yourself on the wrong side of a strong trend, however return does seem to be good.
As this would have the potential of blowing the account I think we just need to test and try and get the optimum orders for account size.
Personally I think if you are setting to 20 (which in reality is 4o orders) you probably require £4-5k for 0.01 lot to be relatively safe.
Just my 2 cents....

so far the safest and most profitable for me is gbp-usd and secondly aud-usd, but eur-chf is far from being the best
 
When i load my Orion tpl this is the default setting. Look at lots and MaxOrders.

What setting do you use? I have set Lots to 0,01

I'm on 5m chart.

I have been testing this EA and it is not bad, to do something serious and not crazy, so far I have concluded that the best pair is GBP-USD and the second best is AUD-USD, but it still needs to test more time.

What I do recommend is to use 0.2% in MM or 0.01 lots every 10,000 usd, with two charts of the same currency, one in direct mode and the other in reverse, I think that is the secret that has not been seen comment.

Do you keep the magic buy & magic sell numbers the same on both charts or do you change them?
