As I promised, Here is the new update of Grid-Averager-PRO EA Version 2.1 with no restrictions after correcting
the PSE levels ...

Here are separate visual test for both Buy and Sell orders to show that it works ok.

It's clear from the above 2 images that order distances are now works well.

You can download the new EA version 2.1 from this post or the first post in first page of the thread.

Good luck to all ...

Was abit of a scary day yesterday when EUR/USD rallied so strongly for the past week. Good thing the Markit Manufacturing PMI final saved me.

Draw down was about USD 500 with a USD 1000 account. I top up an additional USD 570 for fear of margin call.

I'm using this on a live account with FBS cents broker.

Settings used is 0.05 lot, multiplier of 1.4, Pip Step 10, Take Profit: 10, Max Trades 99.

At present, I have a series of short GBPUSD trades with a floating of about USD 200-250

Once all this pair closes, I will be using 0.03 or 0.04 lot size instead.

You should keep lot size to 0.01 per 1K else you risk blowing your account.

Hi I've just found this thread and EA, I've got a demo account running and all seems OK. I've noticed that on a second trade the lot size is still the same as first trade while it's still running. Shouldn't it multiply?

Hi Osama,

I have been using the latest Grid EA, I noticed that if I close one of its trades manually, the EA doesn't pick it up and it stops working correctly. The only way to fix it is to restart it.

Is there a chance to fix it?

Thanks,
Andrea

Thank you for every comment. Now I run the forward test by myself with GBPUSD and will share the result after some time :)

I found that the EA is also working well for TF = M5 with GBPUSD but with some high risk. By setting the lot size to the minimum and have enough startup money (e.g., 2000$) would be enough for my idea. What do you guys think?

So i am using NS EA v3.2, most settings are default but pip multiplier is 1.5 and MM type is 1, start lot size is 0.01. Please see image below where second trade on GBP/USD has same lot size as first trade (0.01). Shouldn't it have multiplied?

Please see the: Start pip step Multiplier after Trade = 3
I think if you change to 1, It multiplies from second trade.
