New EA No Sleep EA With no restrictions

Same has happened to me in couple of instances,/GBPUSD, 1 min. chart/, when i found out that trade was open without TP, and was in huge profit, so I closed it manually. After observation, I have spotted few another trades opened without TP. Once they went negative, corresponding trade which respected placed pip step was open, with correct TP for both trades.
I was already asking for possibility to open first trade without TP , and closing it manually once we're happy with profit, or to wait for EA to take over its grid function if trade goes in negative territory.
 
I am running your EA no sleep ea.. on EUR USD
i am running with 0.05 for starting lot and 10 pip step with 1.667 as lot multipier

but today i faced huge loss running on EUR USD ..
can u tell me if i will be winner running this EA..

MY ACCOunt balance is 2550and already i am in floating loss of 146 USD.

when i demo tested it draw down was not so huge
but now its showing huge draw down.. why ??

Hi Tomfick,
In general you can not compare as apple to apple BackTest and Live trading results.
Back test results have more ideal refined environment bacause of no slippage, fixed spread. Another big differences is data used in Backtesting, it is more or less sintesized calculated based on price received in in 1 min time frame. Tick data is the best if you would like to have a reliable data for backtest modelling.
It is three fundamental differences between Test and Live environment.
I hope it helped to understand why you have different results in No Sleep EA results.
I am sure Oshaban will be able to add some more info from his EA prospective.

So brother, what is the problem?
The drawdown is under 6%, this is quite good for an ea, especially for your lotsize and multiplier. This is not "huge".

Lets make a short calculation to get the point (and the risk you may are in):
In standard settings PSM starts with 3rd trade and max. trades are 10.
With your initial lot size of 0.05 and the multiplier of 1.667 your first trade starts at 0.05 and the 10th trade at almost 1.8 lot. This is factor 36! And you got already 6 of 10 trades open (if you haven't change the other settings).

Concerning your fear I would guess you are trading with a standard-account and not a micro-account? So 2550 USD aren't USDCents?
How long do you test the ea in demo mode?

You asked wether you will be winner running this EA.
The answer is:
Yes, if you learn how the EA works and understand the settings.
Yes, if you practice more in demo mode finding your correct and best settings concerning your risk-/fearlevel.
Yes, if you have more money to cover a high drawdown when market is not your friend (and your absolutely sure that you found your best settings).
No, if you go ahead like you did until now.

This EA is huge, it can bring you money. But you need to learn how to deal with it, how to control it.
Having fear with just 6 trades open within 2 days shows me, that you should practice more.
You will learn when doing mistakes. But it would be better if mistakes happen in demo mode, not losing real money ;)

Your DD is only at 6%!

Don't look at the current DD in $$, look in percentage. so 6% is not to worry about, and in my opinion, you are using way too aggressive settings.
You can gain fast with them but they can blow your account in a blink of an eye if the market makes a bigger move.

Greed is no 1 enemy of the traders, I know from the first hand lol.

I hope you will get out of this trade with a positive outcome. I would personally close that trade asap.

First of all, your small account balance, using as much time frame as possible, and smaller warehousing multiples suggest using TF = 4H LOT Mulitpit = 1.2 or 1.3, so that you can survive big fluctuations, survival is more important than profit.
 
Hi, guys. I'm through my second read of whole thread and just recently I started do demo forward test Grid-Averager-PRO EA Version 2.1, I see huge potential in this free EA.

-What's considered an acceptable DD? Or that is an individual thing because of risk appetite?

So, use your own settings that you feel comfortable with as I can't take settings responsibility.

Use it on demo first for at least a week ...

hello

i have an account balance of 3000 USD .

i want a good set file for XAU USD (GOLD) with minimum draw down.

i want daily good profit .. so i can withdraw and keep my babies feed... i have no other job or business..
 
oshaban, do You know why when i run ea no sleep in 26 charts, it changes 0.01 lot size to 0.1 lot size ? It even change the set file to 0.1 lot ((, i use it on ic markets demo account standard account. When i use 0.02 lot size, everything is working, but 0.01 is not working for me on 26 charts and it keeps changing to 0.1 lot

in the above screenshot u showed u made 20% in 15 Days with 6.5% draw down on a micro account

but u not said what was ur account balance and profit amount..

please enlighten us more about your achivement ..
