Many brokers have a limit of no more than 200 simultaneously open orders...
Closing 500-600 orders requires a lot of time and good liquidity, during which the price will go in the other direction and there will be a loss...
Even closing 10 orders is already a problem, for example on news or high heels...
This is a toy for a demo account...

You are partly right.
The expert does not close all positions at once, it closes part of them.
But your opinion is respected.

You can see in the image below exactly what is happening. In the second time, it closes more positions...
