EA needs different settings for sideways because the profit and stop loss are of course smaller than those set for trend and reversal trading.

 

sideways is best for martingale
your EA should be good if add martingale feature .. i saw couple times it cant reach take profit and pull back away from position small side way .. if Pagaleo EA have martingale for 3-4 position it easily close and not drag all the way to stop loss
