Yes, 3.0 is a scam. However, 2.9 was really good, in my opinion the best EA on the market - although the author cheated in the backtest. Version 3.0 seems to be just a kind of excuse for him to turn off version 2.9; 3.0 has a bad performance and nothing to do with the EA up to version 2.9. The question I'm desperately looking for an answer to: How can I get 2.9 to work again? Now the red inscription comes and it doesn't trade. In versions 1.9 and 2.3, it trades despite the red inscription, so the API is probably not really necessary, but a marketing trick (we know that the bot does not use AI). Does anyone know how to get version 2.71, 2.8 or 2.9 to work despite the red inscription? Proxy? Or can a skilled programmer remove the API dependency from the bot? That would be really great, I'm desperate because the author has made 2.9 unusable and versions 1.9 and 2.3 have a worse performance because SL and TP can't be set.
Agreed on every word you said. I've been using this EA for the last three months and I'm quite comfortable with it,

Yes, exactly. I really suspect that the author only released the 3.0 version as an alibi in order to then shut down 2.9 and use it himself or sell it to a company at a high price. But we shouldn't let ourselves be led around by the nose by a scammer. The author is undoubtedly talented, because the bot in version 2.9 is very good. It would therefore be really fair, especially for those who really bought the bot and can no longer use it, if someone managed to reactivate 2.9 - without the API dependency or with the possibility of entering an API themselves. Is there a talented programmer who can do that? I look forward to solutions!

That's interesting. How does the proxy setup work exactly? Is that like CyNera (Fiddler proxy), right? dimugo said that AI Gen and CyNera use the same OpenAI Organization key - or how did you set up the proxy at AI Gen? Thank you for your help!

I'm not an expert but I understand something. If you don't have the API key that uses the EA it's impossible to make it work. We would need the source file and replace the API key inserted in the EA with one of our own. The problem, however, is another. Somewhere here they posted the source file of version 1.6 and in the code there is no trace of the api key in the code. Furthermore, MQL4 does not directly support the HTTPS requests required by OpenAI, so an intermediate server (e.g. in Python, PHP) should handle requests to the OpenAI API. Finally in the EA there is a parameter Id_0180 which is the key to everything. This parameter creates a function governed by a simple average model that gives buy and sell signals, but there is no way to understand how it works. The parameter is probably determined by machine learning and then imported and copied into the EA. The problem could also be that the source file posted is not complete. I REPEAT... I'm not an expert so I could also say inaccurate things but with a complete source file something more could be done.
