Such as, stop loss 5% of the account and take a 10% profit from the account
A strong negative news on the deals would be the calculation away from the margin call

 

3 trades on EURGBP taken in one day. Manually close the first cos I saw end of trend. Second took a trade and I just rebooted the pc again a new trade which close out on pl reached at a loss cos tp was very near and didnt cover even the loss. I thought only one trade of a pair in 24hrs?

Great EA thank you, I'm also testing it on demo accounts. However, the 'experts' tab is getting flooded with "Order Failed" messages. Examining the thing shows me a possible bug: in almost every trade the T/P is in the negatives. For example: CHFJPY currently (at the time of the writing of this comment) at 115.268. The EA wanted to make a new SELL trade with S/L: 116.070 (this is OK), and with T/P: 115.530. Of course this is resulting in an invalid order... and so does most of the others.

I wonder is anyone else also seeing this.

EDIT: If the user would be able to manually set the TP and SL levels (overriding the default values) that would also be a great feature I think.

by the moment you need to use the time filter to avoid re-entries, set time filter to work only two hours at London open

I'm using on XM Zero they use a point at the end of each Symbols.. is that a problem?

 

XM Zero has Stoplevel of 40 or up to 65 .. eventually it is this the problem?

 

I am using Tickmil demo. Their stop loss is 0 pips so I have not had an invalid order.
I read that the time filter was my pc local time so can i understand the meaning in int in the time settings? Hope you get your charger settle soon. May be when you are back on the developement you can avoid re entry trade by using one trade only per daily candle so that should a new signal develop in the course of the day one will catch it young. I like to catch trades from 2:05 GMT ie 4:05 after the opening of Asia trading.
With the int on the time filter, do I assume it the GMT ?

 

The settings of tp and sl in Version 2.3 is not right. Risk / reward is like 1:4. I have had 3 trades that hit target but are all loses.

 

I have got this also today. Broker - Roboforex.

One other thing: (of course, everything I write is in a constructive manner )
I have a demo account with 10.000 USD initial deposit. I just woke up in the morning, and found out that:
- during the night, the EA made good profits, however:
- currently there are 9 open trades, all of them with at least 1.22 lots... so basically at this time I'm in with (9x1.22) almost 11 lots. That I consider VERY risky.
Would be good if the user somehow would be able to control the maximum number of open trades. If nothing more than a user-controllable "[HASHTAG]#define[/HASHTAG] MAX_ORDERS X" parameter can do the trick . I understand in this way we may miss some profit opportunities, however at least we can make sure that in the event of a giant failure, the EA won't wipe out the account in a single night, while we're sleeping.

Of course, please take this as a constructive suggestion, and not as a complain, we are all thankful for your work.

EDIT: Now I'm closing to margin call (Metatrader bar just turned red), because of the high number of high volume open orders. Number of open trades definitely needs some control.

 

faite attention je pense que ea fonctionne uniquement avec le symboles eurusd et non zeurusd, eurusd. Etc ....

 

One other observation: while the default Take Profit level is accurate, I think we need to lower it by 10 pips.
This is the 3rd time it happened to me in 24 hours: the EA's TP was so accurate that it was the absolute maximum that the currency has reached (congratulations on that one BTW, very accurate calculations )... but it just wasn't enough to get out. As soon as the TP levels reached, the currency immediately turned back, and never again reached that point. But the EA wasn't able to get out. Sometimes I saved the situation with closing the trade by hand.
If the TP was 10 pips, just 10 pips lower, the EA would have gotten out with a very nice profit... but now it's heading for the losses.
Or at least adding a trailing stop option to the mix, might be a good idea

Also, on some account the EA exits with the following error message:
array out of range in 'DFS EA v2.3.mq4' (309,19)

 

I got similar problem on LIVE account..

Some trades are open but most not..

We miss you . I hope you are able to get your charger sorted out soon. Some times its even easier to order online if its not a common charger.
The Ea has performed above expectation. The "Forex_TripleB" system is based on the the Bollinger_Bands. My thinking is since we already know the daily direction or trend all we need is how to determine joining the trend on a lower time fram say 1hr which I believe Bollinger_Bands does.
