My GMT+2 Broker wrote: "the server time will also be changed to GMT+3 starting March 11, GMT."
Something to do about this ? Must changed the GMT_offset ?


Now : GMT_offset = 0
↓
March 11 ～ : GMT_offset = 1 ?


Now : GMT_offset = 1
↓
March 11 ～ : GMT_offset = 2 ?

 

How to use ext .set and dll? and where to place these item to my MT4?

 

Edgae then we need for low impact wait 30 min, for middle impact 60 and for strong impact 90 min or what you mean about that idea?

 

I received the notification from both brokers, PepperStone and RoboForex.

Received email notification from brokers ICMarkets and WelTrade that their server time will also be changed to GMT +3.

Guess we will have to see how the changes will affect the EA on coming Monday.

I going to analyze the change of schedule to see what change we should make the Gmt_offset

 

What is the exact purpose of the GMT offset in this EA?

Are we targeting certain hours, say, after 1700 hours in United States Eastern Time and before 0800 hours Tokyo time?

 

No change is required, we use the same operation, from 00:00 we will operate 1 or 2 hours depending on the value of GMT_offset.

Another point, not all brokers changed the schedule.

I've set up another account with the same broker to run the EA with increase GMT Offset ( 1 becomes 2 and 2 becomes 3 ) .

Both accounts shown exact same trades, with same entry time and exit time.

I think I can increase the lot a little more.

My current set, only operating with three pairs: EURCHF EURGBP GBPCHF

 

the chf pairs are too dangerous in that time, because the spread race to 30-50 points.. put better spread max 1.6 and again the old pairs but take eurchf from your pairs.. trust me
