Just use his guideline of .03 per 10k for an extremely safe setting BUT I tried .02 on 28 plus xau on 200 balance and it tripled it in 2 days because the entries are so well done, and it probably only uses the martingale 1 out of 7 times avg, hence the success on higher settings but I would imaging Jan 2 type flash crash would need very low settings... CHF JPY NZD pairs come to mind...

high drawdown is expected if u trade all 28-29 pairs. so maybe start with micro or cent accounts.
when 2nd Jan 2019 issues happens, those jpy pairs will definitely wipe out ur account

 

yep 450 pips means at 35 pip steps plus 15% increase step and 3% increae lot is roughly 11 steps of positions, so figure .2 lots would be about 4500 dd!! Certainly doable for a larger acct, but reason enough to keep jpy chf and nzd pairs attenuated somewhat.. not scary though, and in fact, their trade explorer shows they ran right over it like a speed bump and profited from it, an avg of 1.1 lots times 450 pips explains why this ea can be so crazy profitable, a 4500 profit roughly, very nice..

Another very interesting thing I just checked on backtest... Easistan v7 doesnt even trade Jan 1 - 6 on UJ.... even more interesting their explorer shows v6 did trade but somehow missed the 450 pip trip slip! Maybe some logic that looks at candle size vs atr or blah blah you know lol

 

I do not know why this strategy reminds me so much of AFG in one of its modules .....

Easistan hasnt traded any of those pairs I have the paid version, it has only traded GBPCAD for the past 3 days or so, and several of the GBP pairs only and XAU a few days ago but EU hasnt traded in the past month I can guarantee that

He's selling you a fake here's the real trade list from Easistan 2019 V7 it uses EXACT same indicator as V6 it just added more conrtrol over position step spacing, otherwise the same and I can look at the guys trade explorer and check my trades theyre always trading the exact same every time

Please dont buy the fake version from the poster above he is just taking your money, his trades dont match with the real ea, like dragon it's a paid ea and this is worth more than the 500 yrly rental..

If you look at my trade history your question is clearly answered above, those are the V7 and V6 trades for past few weeks, it doesnt trade often and sometimes it's working all day, the indicator channel has extreme zones that define high probability reversals, if these conditions are met it will trade, otherwise it's taking a nap lol... like a seismometer, it waits for big moves before it has any activity, then it's all over the place like mad, pretty cool strategy.. This strategy literally only trades the big fundamental selloffs and overbought conditions... otherwise it's waiting like a rattlesnake...

The developer recommends .03 per 10k bal for 28 plus xau, however I have been using more than 1 lot per 10k in a stress test if you will, and the results speak for themselves

I like to test an ea's breaking point and this one seems to have a high threshold for too high settings, meaning a greater margin of error compared to many other ea's

I did a great deal of testing and optimizing with hamster, only to find it fails big, but this is not the same, and when you use this ea with that big gain logic using turtle money management style, you can realize huge gains, havent seen it blow up yet on forward test

This is 2 weeks forward test, i closed a few trades in loss doing something else so dd is much less than stated when I was adjusting things etc

Even with my monkeying around it STILL managed to double my acct in 2 weeks time safely

Using 5 lots on 20k acct, started at 4, I guess I should set it to 10 lol

 

So where to get the real version please CM?

Think your dates are wrong, should it not be 1 1 18 to 31 1 18 ? otherwise only 29 trades for 1 year ?

 

It is set to Jan 1 18 but free tickstory data only goes back a year, so I checked the charts and I see nothing that will blow an account Jan 2018, why I asked him what settings, the RECOMMENDED is .03 on 28 pairs plus xau for a 10k acct, I run it much higher than that with incredible results but I am aware of the pitfalls and accept risk.

I ran it for weeks starting .02 on a $200 std ecn acct, and had a 60% dd, or $145, but it tripled the acct, it was $200 and I didn't mind risking, this EA has passed many stress tests so much better than any other EA I have tested. During his free demo period this EA made me far more than the 500 yearly rental so I didnt mind paying for it...

I have learned about building a balance quickly if you are running an automated algorithm, you can survive much more dd if you get started fast and hit some big trades successfully, BUT, there's always two sides to it, it can also blow up, either way many times I have found that after an ea blows up it can end up at a higher balance than conservative settings will reach, not always but it's statistics and probabilities... I don't run a live acct quite that crazy past $500 or $1000 but it can work... Sometimes
