I am not a backtester. I do not know. I am conducting a Forward Test. Perhaps a reader here can help nirvano. But I am told that the backtests to this EA cannot be depended on as it reads the history.

I just do not believe that this EA could blow up if it uses Support & Resistance in its logic. If you use 0.01 lotsize without martingale and have your SL's in place so that it does not run away from you then you should be golden.

Actually there is no martingale available with this EA...it is more like a grid trader with a trailing stop with S&R deciding direction.

What I do not like about this EA is that the SL's are so wide. But it needs to be loose that way to allow it to work.

    nirvano,

The thread author has requested that we forward test this EA. If you wish it would be really helpful to start a test different from mine here in this thread and share your results. I believe the thread author would be grateful to you.

He is looking for "live account" tests eventually.

next week I will start a test on the reaction of this EA and I think well to add on a myfxbook.com account to have usable statistics

Great! Try to pick a different test timeframe and inputs than I am using..this way we can discover what works best.

    Hi Ahmad,
    Great EA! :ok:

I started immediately negotiations with Trump to take over the Trump Tower.
After the first negotiations, $ 550 million seems realistic.

I think this target profit is not a problem for your EA - in case I start it on Monday with $ 100 deposit - until 15 March next year, the deadline of pre-contract, when I have to transfer the amount of $ 550 million?
    I hope the DD doesn't drop below $ 1.5 (1.5%)>:)
    btw.
    warm hug from

    Zaman Ahmed Khan,

Thank You for your informative posts. I would try your EA but I am told it is using a martingale approach. Can the martingale be turned off in your EA and is it depending on martingale to be profitable?

I am spending a lot of time testing Mitra Exness 1.5 and/or ZenGinFX 1.5. I chose to use my valuable computer space and test these EA's because they operate with 0.01 lotsize and use support & resistance. In my own manual trading I use "support & resistance" and "supply & demand" (two separate things). The discrepancies seem to surface with the backtests. I feel the thread author is wanting to prove in forward tests that his method works and will compensate me for running some tests publicly by giving me a free license to use his teams work in my live accounts.

For me personally, there is nothing emotional here on how I want to spend my time. I just do not want to discover I am wasting it. Mr. Khan, you make some real strong statements against Mitra Exness 1.5 and/or ZenGinFX 1.5. Please be patient with me as I want to understand.

I think it comes down to this:

    • You believe the backtests and in backtesting.
    • You believe in forward tests only.

    Dear Ahmad,

I know exactly what purpose you made the video for and it was exactly in mind why my response was 'born'.
Is it really so hard to read the irony from my response?:D
/If I see an EA with a strategy test result like this (Mitra), I won't even bother to download it./

    No.
    Also do backtesting frequently.
And if the position is closed in the back test, close it manually.

One thing about this EA. Is that the TP and SL are so far away. Sometimes the trade will never reach the TP so I manually take profit before it reverses.

    Thanks for the feedback sivikarthifx,

I will keep going. I have not been drained yet in the M5 and the M15 with TP=10.0, SL=50.0, TrailingExtra = 10.0 on an ECN account.

Making 400 bucks on a 2k account in just a few days...it's scarey. But what if it lasts? This would be the greatest EA on the planet.
