It's a modified version of this EA : https://www.mql5.com/en/code/15834

Most of the settings are described there.

The set file works for EURUSD M1 and GBPUSD M1.

Hoping somebody will improve it...

i wish i could find EA, with that Low DD, but profitable.....only 34.4% after One year, and 2.86% per month gain, cant make a big success for us (OR..for me at least)

yes its good one but i doubt most of people here can afford to run this EA safely b/c 10000 dollar is not easy money to manage and run an EA For year to get profit of 3000 dollar many want such EA which can run safely on 1000 balance
although its good one for those who has huge balance

Interestingly, the Crook EA thread simply disappeared after a few days, a situation that usually has been happening with the very few threads in this Forum that were sharing EAs that demonstrated potential to be profitable.

yes..and this EA also not profitable even with martingale...dont know...how people make their deposit at all time risk...and still looking for 2.86 percent profit per month...and satisfied with it... LOL

yes ageeed with Buzamel no miracle exist and this is dead hard game who think its easy to earn with forex living in dreams if with investment of 10000$ u get 2.5% per month mean 250$ /month its huge profit my dear no bank in whole world offer this profit.
bank only offer 6 to 7% annually with tax deduction only 5%.
it mean if u invest in bank 40$/month maximum.
but yes if u invest 10000$ in property or any plot it may give u good return but chance 50/50 risk / reward

Methinks, Martingale is a good trade recovery strategy if used with a cool head and no greed.
The volatility, particularly in EURUSD, USDJPY, does not allow much for technical analysis and 'predictive' indicators.

Advantages in this EA: dynamic grid calc based on volatility (still to be tweaked for lower time frames, not D1), break-even close decision after predefined number of cranks.
However, there is still some To-Do on this dynamic grid calculation/pips (it's most likely due to incorrect 'Point' definition with my broker - calculates x10 pips TP and x10 pips initial grid) -see snapshot below.



Plus initial trade decision (signal): - here we have a mix BB, multi-timeframe ADX, MA, MACD, SAR, but all this doesn't work to identify long/short-time trend for the majority of initial trades to close in profit without Martingale cranks. In my attempts, the bloody thing always buys high - sells low. So, I go back to the drawing board.


Also a good idea for an MG EA would be to have a few buttons on the screen for a quick manual intervention.
Also, on my wish list, when a trend is solidly identified, a crankup of Lots should be available.

This might be good for SpreadBet with 5 digits quotation where 10 pips = 1 lot gain/loss but definitely not for ECN...
