Question Request: Can someone code EA for this simple logic

Hello Devs,

Can someone please code an EA for this simple and yet seems to be profitable strategy?

its too easy , no indis, just only 1 rule
follow the color AND put pending orders to previus H/L
RR:1/1
TF= D1 or H4 or H8
the MM is up to you

work with 3 ways :
i) in the first green /red candle
or
ii) in every candle
or
iii) every new color H8 candle

Extra Notes:
1) a order dont closed till SL or TP
2) when price go to 150 fibo then we have Trail stop at 140 fibo , so the SL moves to entry
3) if a pending order dont open then cancel and we put new pending
4) if we have open order (long) and the next day we have new signal short, we take both ( till SL or TP )

Some notes for coding which can improve the experience and results in optimisation and real trading:

1. Custom Trading Time Frame, for example I can choose H2 so the EA will trade based on H2 candles, if I choose H8 the EA will trade based on H8 candles even if the chart on which EA runs is H1.
2. Choice to use every candle or only when new red or green
candle appears.
3. Choice to use normal candles or trade based on Haiken Ashi.

Seems simple strategy as intraday trading ea, using pending order will safier than instant trades I think
good system hope will there some creator ea hence we can test later
 
Hi larsan , thank you for sharing this strategy and hats off to the original strategy creator over forexfactory. I'm gonna study this for manual trading

The creator listed 3 ways to trade the strategy, which one do you use? put pending orders in every candle or wait fo ethe first green/red candle? i dont know how to generate H8 so probably I'm not going to use TF daily or H4

I'm not a programmer like Joel. I'm just trading student same as you. How long did you forward test the strategy? How's the result so far?

@mukamu I personally only watched on "paper" but on FF you can see many who traded it and show very good win ratio. So if we can make an EA (which Joe seems as will try to make) we can optimize it for many pairs using MT4 optimization tool and pick best pairs to trade, those with the best track record.

don't waste your time
don't stay in the loop, get out fast of it and try another things, be creative is the most successful way to do it

an ea can make any thing works in forex, math is almost perfect, but the ea should base on math not on illogical technical, so if you want to keep trying on this the ea should trail and should mm & should filter a lot :)

I appreciate your opinion. But this strategy is a breakout based and math based as it is fibonacci and math minded strategy. Did you deep study this one before replying?

As for your 2nd point, for sure trailing and profit locking. Won't hurt.

It's nice start, if we can add the rest of the rules into it, could be a nice experiment, Thanks for the contribution bro!

We need all the rules to be applied, including bullish breakout on green candles and bearish breakout on red candles. Does those rules implied into this EA?

Anyways, maybe Joellivzfx could use some of this source codes to build the whole EA by all its rules :)

Can you please describe which parts of the strategy this EA applies? Does it has the fibonacci TP/SL calculation as well? Thanks!

math for me is logic and logic is math, 1+1=2 this is a logic on earth for humans, for example an oscillator that calculate some points to get the closest possible point for the purpose is just a tool, is not math or even logic to me, numbers are not math too they are just a tool :)

the ea i give u open 2 stops one at low and one at high of the daily candle close 1 if candle total size 50+ pips, tp 100% candle size, sl candle 1 low for buy and c1 high for sell, the key is the trailing, simple concept and looks better than the one above that is old and need more things :) but dont use it it was just for fun

I see, can your EA follow other rules of the strategy?

1. Look for BUY breakout on green candled and SELL breakout on red candles?
2. Can your EA support heikan ashi candles? (sell on red, buy on green)
3. Can your EA have same fibonacci SL/TP rules? Fib 200 for TP and Fib 0 for SL?

The extra ideas such as using bottom and top for breakout regardless of candle color, we can use as optional on/off feature and see in the optimisation if it helps or not overall.

I really like to have an EA following all the exact rules of the strategy with both normal and HA candles rather then making other ideas for now. Lets respect this thread idea, making an EA based on the rules as described, then optimise and back test it on diff pairs to study how it works and go from there with any further improvements IF needed. Hope you understand.

this strategy ea will not be profitable without some adjustment anyway, so why you don't believe me
first im sure you never forward test this, second guy on ff using a demo, a lot of members on ff say its not profitable so, why you keep getting stuck to the loop get out dude :D

for example the picture above say at first green or red bar but i see many first green/red bars he don't take them on the pic why is that ? :D

if you have any good adjustments for this strategy to work, we will give it a try on the chart then i'll give you the ea you dream about :D

if you just look for minutes to the chart you will find that is not profitable so why you bother yourself!! :)

Go the the original ForexFactory thread and look thru the posts, you will see how much success people get with this strategy and this is why there is almost 200 pages already. if this strategy was useless, it won;t be getting that attention. Simple things CAN be good bro.

I am not forcing anyone follow this tread, if anyone like the strategy and want try it welcome, if anyone want build the EA and share here so we can improve it together? Awesome. But if you coming to this thread to keep saying you dont like it... it's not helpful. If you want help, offer specific improvements to the strategy...instead of offering another strategies here which none related.

Regardless of results, enjoy the process, its all what life is about, try, enjoy learn...if its not what we need, move to the next thing!
