ea_Harvest Cabbage is an Expert Advisor designed to trade EURUSD and GBPUSD on the Н1 timeframe. The EA does not use martingale and hedging. The robot is based on the algorithm of identification of the last two bars. It takes into account how they open and close relative to each other using iHigh, iLow, iClose and iOpen indicator. A BUY or a SELL trade opens after a signal is generated. Stop loss moves to breakeven when a certain profit is achieved. You can start using it with $100. It was tested on Н1.

Hello Cirilo,

I have tried to execute this EA Harvest Cabbage in the MT4 Strategy Tester but it had not opened any operation.

However, I put the EA running a test in a Demo account and, aparently, it is working.
Both EUR-USD and GBP-USD had already opened the first orders.

Do you have any information if this EA has any technical restriction to be executed under the Strategy Tester due to, for example, the type of logics or strategy that it is being used ?

tapi perlu juga menyematkan stop loss dan atau cut loss supaya aman kalau sinyal palsu

I used tickstory data. The tester does not show it anymore. But you see the difference between 90% and 99.9%.
And have a look at the spread I used!

I'm with you mate.

A lot of people dont understand the significance of 99% tick data, nor the real world spread... A lot think a spread of 2 in the strategy tester is 2 pips, but we know it is actually 2 points, and whilst many brokers do offer this on EURUSD it is still no guarantee that it will remain 2 points during periods of volatility...

That is why the strategy tester is just that, it proves the "strategy" by testing it, but it is still no guarantee of success, a fact many people seem to overlook...
