Equity Sentry is a MT4 add-on to help you protect your deposit.

The main function of the Equity Sentry is to close all trades and disable all Expert Advisors running on the MT4 terminal to prevent them from opening, modifying or closing any trades. I call this „Close & Stop“.

Additionally, there‘s an option to filter trades by currency pair and/or magic number.

„Close & Stop“ can happen on several Triggers.

Account equity drops to a certain level
Account equity reaches a certain level
Open trades (floating loss/profit) reaches certain level
Closed trades + Open trades (floating loss/profit) reaches certain level
EA can calculate floating P/L in pips, deposit currency or percentage.

EA can perform several actions on Trigger:

Close open trades
Delete pending orders
Disable Autotrading on MT4 terminal, which makes all EA‘s to stop any operations or simply prevent them from opening, modifying or closing any trades on the account. EA disables Autotrading in a very simple manner by clicking the „Autotrading“ button programatically in the top MT4 toolbar.
Close MT4 terminal completely.
