      Hi,
Checkout the picture below, This explains a strategy that you start with buysell.. Then close of them whichever comes to the profit. after that add one order to losing side and also one order to the profit side. After that you will have total 3 orders, one is following the trend and the other two are against the trend. Keep booking profit from the trend order every 10 pips. and once the market comes back, use the booked profit to close the against trend orders. once against trend orders are closed, then the other side becomes against trend order. then add one order to the against trend and keep on going with this sequence.
Please share your idea about it.

Thanks for sharing the strategy but it's still confusing. Can u please further explain this adding lot examples?

not really understand, but to me it involved Grid + Hedging which involved prediction of direction. If the direction suddenly goes the other direction, ur dd will still floating endlessly.

No, you didn't understand it very well. it doesn't involve grid and direction prediction. but yes it involve hedging. The strategy is only designed for the wrong direction winning. but if the market goes in favorable direction then we don't need to use any other technique and it can quickly make profit.

Let me know where you didn't understand this strategy?

i see. What if the trend didn't change direction which it just keep on going in same direction?
according to my understanding, if it continues in to the same direction, then it will continue locking profit by the opening of a buy trade. When the total profit reaches $10, then he closes the sell trades.

This is my review for this thread:
The forum is full of sellers. Each new thread is to catch new victims. There is nothing good in here anymore.
      Next!

if there is a need, there is a supply...... as long as the payer/user is happy with what they get as well as the supplier, what harm is it.

i see. What if the trend didn't change direction which it just keep on going in same direction?

i don't think that it can happen that market keep on going one side only and doesn't change every. What do you think? what can make it faster and better?

I do understand that a direction wont continue in a long run. But the point is : how many pips do u required during the so call 'change of direction" ? Because that's the exact same thing that used by Martingale, which they also hope hope for a slight retracement in order to close all trades together, but the issue is : most of the time, it didnt make it which the graph will then change back to original direction to further increase the DD.

I am not sure if you aware that the total trades mentioned above that is "against the trend" is only 2 trades.

      1. It doesn't increase in lotsize.
      2. It doesn't increase the number of trades more than 2.

So, there is something interesting to me. And I can assume at the moment is that this strategy has many trades opens (hedging) but the profit is at the lower side which is safe. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I noticed that this strategy "Close group" at the reversal of 50%.
Which means, trader need to take in consideration that you account must be able to hold the floating when
market move toward 1 direction before it retraces at "50%" level.

Float till 534 pips on Daily chart (EU) before it retraces back at 50%.

Since you know how to code EA, why not share the ex4 file or the result. Wouldn't it be easier for us to see it in clearer picture?

no matter what happen, we need to know about market is unstable and everything
is happening anytime. So our strategies
is belonging to 10% always right.
      Another 90% is wrong position
so any method failed long term.
(EA seller is always rich and
      EA user always search repeatedly)

      But our money management(mm) and
our risk to reward ratio to distribution
other dimension is a must (eg: multi
currency or multi asset arbitrage) OR
(find 10% right method all ur whole life).

I view differently, market either going up or down; bearish or bullish.... the chances of getting right is no less than 50%. :)

You are the first person who got this idea.
your points are very clear that it doesn't increase the lot size and it doesn't even increase the number of orders. Yes, that's correct and this is also right that it need about 50% reversal to close the group. not group but the previous floating orders.
What happen in reality is that, if market goes for 300 pips, it will need 150 pips reversal then after hitting 150 pips reversal, then next group can be closed on 50% for 150 pips, which is 75 pips reversal required, then 40 pips, then 20 and 10.. every 50% reversal you make money.
This strategy is not made for the small profit, i designed this strategy to use standard lots, because total number of orders will be only 3 all the times from which 2 orders will always remain hedge, we have only one order in risk.

Now i need some improvement in this and that's the reason why i shared this strategy here is that, how can you improve it and how can you say that it should close orders at 30% reversal not at 50%..

If you have the EA files, isn't it easier for us to backtest the history, and find out at which area of the market it got the problem, then we will be able to give a better suggestion? Else with our limited imagination, the suggestion may not be relevant.
