Fantastic results Kris! :ok::cool: But we must always remember: Demo is not 100% accurate reflection of Real - slippage and latency are not considered. I got scared with drawdown using SA Hedge, and removed most of SA from my accounts. I only run a pair or two now.

I know some people want to boast about their results, but please share EA or presets so others can forward test themselves. Just because it works well in Backtest does not mean it will work well in Demo. Just because it works well in Demo forward test does not mean it will work well in Real...

Reverse Logic function? Use both Normal and Reverse simultaneously? Incorporate this EA strategy into that EA?

I haven't found a good setting for ProfitFX EA, but I haven't deleted it in case there is some potential with it. I did pay for it, but not the official price tag.

Mr Tanaka, can you check this file and see if you can make any improvements? Problems that need fixing: - Magic discrimination (conflicting with other EA) - reverse operations parameter (- anything else...??)

That could be modified in MQ4 file... Additionally, it would also be good if a programmer could include a reverse function so that orders can be hedged to reduce drawdown. And if it can be fixed to discriminate Magics properly then this will be the ONLY EA any trader will ever need! Mr Tanaka...

Modelling quality = n/a Could this explain the fantastic return and survival of $30 to $650 in 20 days? I doubt the same results could be obtained with 99.9% or in Real.

Thanks guys. I don't understand how your Demo results are good and mine are not. We are both using IC Markets Demo. I can only suspect perhaps I had EA conflicts which may have closed trades early?? IDK...

Yes, I am quite impressed! Default settings on Demo IC Markets (http://icmarkets.com/?camp=24876): ...but too soon to say on Real. I had a limit of only one order; I will increase this.

I sat it on Demo for a couple of weeks and got 0 trades. I got 0 errors in Journal or Expert logs. I am using IC Markets ECN Demo. Didn't work for me.

SA with Kris' hedge strategy was supposed to be "hedged", but seems the hedge comes unstuck (or disappears) in a trend. Yes, it looks to become simply a grid-martingale. Maybe a change of settings can improve SA survivability in trend situations? SA is quite versatile...

...today I reached a large DD on one account as I was using NZDJPY and it has sustained a trend without retracement. Seems SA is not fully capable of surviving a trend. Settings or programming needs adjustment to have hedge / reverse work better for account survival.
