Hey, I have been doing a lot of back testing as well. I found the EA on mt4talk and decided to give it a try. My broker uses a kind of higher spread than the rest (eurusd around 15 +-3). I have found that during some months it works much better on M30 charts, but during longer periods of testing H1 works best. From August 1 till the end of September on m30 chart it made above 1000 in profit but the drawdown was about 47% (500) deposit. During BT from Jan 1 2016 until Nov 8 2018 on H1 chart it made 27000 USD profit with 34% drawdown (500 deposit). Unfortunately the SL and TP are not changeable but right now I am trying to manually stop trades that hit a verified support level or resistance (in profit), actually I just move my tp to that area.
I am sure people asked but you guys are not willing to put out the .mq4 file of course. Would be able to try and incorporate RONZ to manage the trades, or use a simpler indicator to manage TPs within a support/resistance area.
I can tell the strategy behind this EA is pretty different than what is out there and I really like it.
Will update what happens with me with manual stops. So far I made 130 USD within one week by manually stopping. Zero losing trades. 500 deposit, 0.05 lots.
Of course for the manually closing of trades being tested now is on a demo account but I am putting a lot of time and effort into it.
Thanks to the person or team who made it.

    Dear traders,

If you have historical data from 2000 or 2003, I need your help to verify the result of our test EA, this EA is not part of official release, it's just a simple EA to test sensitivity of our workflow to a various price feed and data range.

No need to test in every tick, open price method should be enough, we recommend you to test the lite version first because the heavy version, as the name suggest, can be quite heavy and slow to backtest.

    Best regards.

I have done the calculation with Dukascopy data starting 08.08.2003 until last friday. Default settings. Random slippage of 5 pips is included. Just let me know, if I should do the calculation with the mentioned histdara starting June 2000.

Hello Jean-Leon ,Drolph and Ted Waller

Thank you very much for your effort, I really appreciate it

Jean-Leon , based on your experience, is the heavy version really heavy and slow to backtest on your computer?

Drolph , yes I'd love to, if you have data from histdata.com please backtest with those data, it'd be good to have another result for comparison.

Ted Waller ,may I know which data source do you use? Is it the native data from Meta Quotes History Center?

    Best regards.

    Hi autotradingportfolio,
Time to backtest heavy version from 08.2003 to 12.2007 : around 35 minutes (based on my experience, it's a long if you want to optimize it).
Time to backtest lite version on same period : 2 minutes !

    Ok, here we go.

Lite Version - Histdata (i do not trust them for several reasons) - starting June 2001 until today. Default settings.

Although it fully loads the data from June 2000 it skips the first year which I do not know why.

Thank you Drolph and Ted Waller ,

So with two different data source (histdata and meta quotes) the result from 2000 to 2003 is different, but from 2003 to 20018, the curve is similar between histdata, meta quotes and dukascopy.

Jean-Leon , I'm glad to hear that it's not really heavy on your computer.

Okay I think I've collected enough information to report, thank you very much guys for your help.

    Best regards.

    Dear autotradingportfolio,

Thanks for the awesome EA. I like the idea and approach of having multiple strategies within each pair, and using multiple pairs to create a complete portfolio. Would you be able to open up some simple parameters like Trailing Stop (Start, Distance, Step) if the user choose to use it. Thanks once again.
