tonight, on a demo account with version 1.9, I tested the Sigma at 0.4, the results were strange: many positions were opened on the same cross, all without take profit and stop loss (except the first), all manually closed in positive after a few minutes for a total profit of + 25%.

 

default settings or use "SyTrage_v1.6-EURUSD_M1"?

 

Yeah, this happens when the bot doesn't receive tick data from the pair it is put onto and "thinks" no position has been opened...
That's why I want to migrate it to python !

I'm sorry to be away most of the time but this EA is driving me crazy for different reasons
One, it's very efficient.
Two, brokers are trying to block it.
Three, I'm porting it to python to trade directly with the broker via a FIX API.
The most important setting is the "sigma" one. It defines the spread that needs to be reached by the algo computations to open a set of positions.
SyTRAGE spots market imbalances between pairs and acts upon it using synthetic pairs (virtual ones, if you prefer).
I can't be too descriptive as it could backfire...

Hello, Anyone help me where is wrong this BACKTEST? I used this version and this set file on ICM. I'm new in mql5.

 

I dont know why, but the last trade was on 16th of this month.
Since then absolutely nothing.
Broker is ICMarkets ECN.
Some in here though had trades with them, which is weird...
Perhaps a different setup.

 

What Set you have? because yesterday I had trades 2 times with the default set

 

too FBS and Roboforex

 

It's true, the Broker has some plug-ins that interfere with EA.

I no. IC Market demo and real.

3 bad trade on real (and some good) and good trade on demo, i will trun on "extra filter"

 

A few minutes ago I made operations, it was working well in the two days I tried it in demo, but today I connected it in real and in demo and opened operations and did not close them, in addition to that previously established SL shorts, of 3 pips, now the put over 40 pips, very weird, I'm using version 1.9 in ICMarkets, real and demo

 

First is demo (default settings and 5% risk) second is real (default settings 3% risk).
--both vps --no i will turn on extra filter

 

What do you mean with "the broker are trying to block it"?
