Guys, here is the long promissed post about the EA optimization with inputs explanation. So, the inputs are these:

SpreadLimit = 250; (Spread limit, if the spread is greater than this value ea won't open trades. Usually used when news come).

FixedLot = 1.0; (LotValue, if you want to use fixed lot use with value for "Fixed lot", but 0 for "RiskPercent").

RiskPercent = 0; (Same here but this time lot increases/decreases as account increases/decreases. Margin used in %'s).

Use_Seasonality = true; (Either true/false, this option is used for certain days or hours, (Only actual for 1 month of trading, because market is seasonal and everchanging)).

atr_period = 20; (Average true range period of the distance between moving average and price. Values between 2 to 100 with a step from 1 to 2.).

period = 75; (Moving average period of which EA will open trades with, this comes with simple moving average close price. Values between 2 to 200 with a step from 1 to 2.).

Closing = 23; (After how many bars/candlesticks the EA will close trades. Values between 1 to 100, with a step from 1 to 5).

ENUM_TIMEFRAMES TF = PERIOD_H1; (After "Closing" candles/bars trade will be closed, so this input is about at what timeframe these candles are. Values between PERIOD_M1 - 1 minute towards PERIOD_1MN - 1 month, in this case I usually use from 1 minute to 1 hour).

shift = 27; (The shift of moving average or how many candles back from the actual price the moving average is. Values between 0 and 100 with a step of 1).

X = 160; (At what distance in percentage ATRs is price from moving average in order for trades to be taken. Values between 0 to 250 with a step from 1 to 5).

Guys, remember that this EA only works a month with same parameters, then at the end of the month it has to be reoptimized/recalibrated. Also, the backtests should be exactly for 1 year, because 1 year is a full seasonal cycle.

 

By following my instructions on how to use this EA you should be good to go.
