New EA Amenothes EA

I was testing it with Alc (the owner of EA), along with ES (another great person/tester/member). The first version we were testing had the multi hard coded, i think it was 1.8 multi.
We were NOT back testing, it was on live/test accounts. There was pretty much ALWAYS some kind of marty level on open positions. At one point I had a level 4.
You can go back to pages 5-8 of this thread and see my open/closed positions.

ElectricSavant remember Hassaam had a deep marty level also?

Perhaps the newer version of the EA along with a multi set to 1.45 does do 'something' to the actual entry point, it just seems very strange to me thats all. I stopped my tests due to the major bug when closing platform/EA and then rebooting.

alcazard can you confirm any of this? it is coded that a lower multi 'does change the entry decision of the EA'?
 
This is a pity. I have decided to cancel the forward test. I was testing with multiple currency pairs, but I decided that it was impossible to continue because I entered with an unbearably large lot number of balances. I look forward to the results of other testers.

well Folks my hat is off to you. You have been very resourceful in forward-testing around these maladies that the current EA has. We need the new EA soon.

Sorry for the lack of discussion, I have a lot of work at the moment.

Amenothes EA in H4 continues his journey with DD <10%. Other tests are in progress.

Hossam, I see the EA has been reinialized. That's why you had all these positions with the martingale forward. We see it on the opening prices. This is a known bug in the EA, we had warned

Or maybe this is another unknown bug?
 
hossam elsawy yes that looks like the bug I found, whereby after re-inializing the EA it will open new and fast positions within minutes, which looks like your situation...? no big pip moves etc, just opening positions...

I have not had any ghost orders yet...but I only restart on the weekends when I shut my VPS down...My lot multiplier of 1.45 seems to not work as I only get 0.01. I do not think this EA needs Marty. It makes an estimated $164.17/Mo. with a max DD seen of $104.21.... that is a 1.58 Ratio. I have set it up on 28 pair with the ATR Table.

I want to say that Amenothes functions well for me. I have yet to see any ghost progressions brought about by shutting the platform off midstream. Not that I do not believe it is happening, I do not mean that at all and I am too scared to go live.

I only get 0.01 trades with the multiplier 1.45 which has worked fine for the last 27 calendar days (this is another malfunction). I am seeing two progressions (netting 5 bucks each on 0.01 trades) in the last few hours as this marks a busy day for Amenothes.

Alc...can you please share some more of your excellent malfunctioning EA's? They seem to work fine for me.

Here is my spreadsheet comparing Amenothes with some of the best....
Also I have reposted v1.72 to bring it forward in this thread. I use 28 setfiles and you will need to contact me to set it up (use of the ATR Table). We must continue to forward-test this EA as time is wasting and I am growing older.

Ea created in limited time or there are expired date
after that, need to buy a licence to keep ea working active
 
Pardon the interruption Folks as this is not my thread....

I am torn between using the News Filter or not. I understand that the positive effect of a News Filter is to protect from false entries on quotes that rise up or fall fast just to return to where they started. When using martingale this can be used as sort of a stop gap against meaningless progression. I do not use martingale.

The effects on Amenothes is very positive. Just now the price is well above it's $5.00 target (this is set in the inputs) but it does not exit until the News Filter turns the AutoTrading back on (set to 30 min before and after medium news events). The ECB President is speaking. When the News Filter turns AutoTrading back on the profit most likely will be above $10.00 on the 0.01 trades. I have seen this happen several times during the last 28 calendars days of my test.

What do the readers/testers think. Do you have an opinion?

If the news filter gives you good results, use it.

Can you share your news filter, I'll run a test with it. We will see the difference with and without.
